Pranam Gurus,

I too was about to as directed by you because I do not have

the time to do all the exercises. For instance, in the last assignment,

I would need to read the life of Aurobindo and some of his writings in

order to attempt an analysis of his chart. My health is not very good

at present. On the other hand, what I find especially valuable are the

archives. Now one cannot access the archives if one is not a member. I

was looking for comments about digestive ailments today, I found a

number of good posts but if I were to this would be

unavailable to me.

I can see that you wish to have a list for beginners, I have been

fascinated by Jyotish for almost 40 years, but I still have much to

learn. But learning becomes more a matter of separating the grain from

the chaff, the noise from the message.

I hope you will reconsider your decision.

Best regards,

aphoton

Jaya Jagannath!

Dear Aphoton,

Do read Narasimha posting carefully. I feel sorry to see that many of

you

received Sanjayji's suggestion inappropriately. His desire was to help

beginners understand this knowledge, not to punish any of you for not

answering the assignments. Sanjayji's advice was given to those who

still

have problems with basics, not to all of you. Never forget Sanjay's guru

in own sign in lagna. He is of compassionate nature and would not

certainly

punish anyone, but help.

Mantra Mulam Guru Vakyam

Moksha Mulam Guru Kripam,

Best wishes,

Zoran

Dear Zoran and members,

I have been with some Vedic lists for many years now. I learned to appreciate

and admire certain individuals who projected the remarkable quality of

willingness to share valuable Vedic knowledge with others while sacrificing much

of their own time.

The respectable Sanjay Rath and Narasimha Rao are two such individuals.

Anyone who can reflect on the last 4-5 years will recognize what I mean.

Both Sanjay and Narasimha have and are raising the level of Vedic astrology

knowledge and principals to new levels that very few have done in resent years.

That goes for both the books they wrote, the mail-lists they started and run as

well as their participation in them.

I believe to have been the first person to comment Sanjay's mail expressing the

importance that I place on this membership (I joined only a couple of weeks

ago).

As an individual and astrologer who lives where I do (Sweden), I consider this

to be a part of a life line. Understand that at times a single lesson on this

level is valued more than 100 books (and those I have plenty of ...). To me they

are as important as the air I breeze.

However I agree that no one should start university without been to ground and

high schools first. In this sense Sanjay, Narasimha and the other gurus are

absolutely correct.

I believe (my opinion) that a window should be left open for those who wish to

stay in Varahamihira while they are attending the 'Classroom lessons' WITHOUT

interfering with questions etc. i.e. an total state of " read only " option.

Therefore, I (like many others I believe) never doubted Sanjay's positive

intentions nor his compassionated nature and good will. Sanjay can only be

blessed for what he is contributing to us and to this world.

With respect and kind regards

Jay Weiss

OM SRI GURAVE NAMAHDear Jay, Zoran, Alexandra, Laxmi and others,

Fully agree to your proposal. But I will advise that those of you who wish to be on a strong foundation should join SJVCas well or rather definitely as this will strengthen your roots. Those who wish to be spectators are fine, but this will only cause more trouble in sorting mail. My problem is I would not know whom to focus on and check whether they are working seriously. Any ideas on this? If you are worried about missing something, then the archives are always there.

In the tradition, the youngers were always present (though rarely participated) in what the elders did so that they too learnt the basics by imbibing the lessons from the discussions.

As to who should go to SJVC, I think Solai and Sarat will decide this as there is a concensus among Guru's that the newcomes need to have some basic grounding. So, please wait for his mail..instead I will advice that all newcomes just join SJVC first. Please don't miss my special lessons on basics out there. Varahamihira is a BANYAN TREE and there is a lot of shade for all of us.

In any case I am getting on with this class as further delay will only make the nimble mind forget the taste of the food it has just eaten.

Best RegardsSanjay Rathhttp://sanjayrath.tripod.com

PS Jay Thanks for that compliment anyway..No, I don't deserve it as I can do more but am idling away a lot of time reading about the Taliban and those great cartoons on them.

OM SRI GURAVE NAMAHDear Aphoton,

Consider it like this. That Chart os Aurobindo is that of a small kid who has come to you and you are reading things ONLY FROM THE CHART. Thats what I want from you. Agreed that Prophets chart or that of Jesus is difficult and can be challenging. Some assignments are openended and this is one such. You will keep learning from those two charts for many years to come.Best RegardsSanjay Rathhttp://sanjayrath.tripod.com
