Namaste Sanjay ji,

My sincere apologies for over-using abbrevations - I think it came from the fingers trying to keep pace with the flow of thoughts.

In future, I will conciously try to avoid SMS-talk.

I am resubmitting the assignment, in 'NORMAL' english, and in greater detail - please be kind enough to examine it and give your valuable comments.

Also, either I have missed your evaluation of the first part of my response, reg. Kal Sarpa Yoga. or it has escaped your attention. Can you please advise me. I posted it on 2 Dec., and am adding it at the bottom of this mail.

Looking forward to your kind evaluation and guidance,

With sincere regards,

Shailesh Chandra Chadhascchadha

***Jaya Jagannath***Dear sailesh,

By eating away words you are showing that you are SMS smart, but the expression and logic are not clear. Expect a critical analysis when the matter is presented properly. I find statements like "PiK JU, conj. AmK MO is asp by MK MA and GK RA" painful deciphering and often give up early. try to send your answer in english that is normally spoken. Talk to us..

Rasi Chart: KAY on 2/8 axis holds the threat of problems related to health, wealth and debts.

Lagna Lord Venus ( Bhratri Karaka) in Lagna makes the native blessed and wise having good nature, income and reputation but also tendencies for multiple extra-marital liaisons. Exalted Yoga Karaka, Saturn (Putra Karaka) in Lagna bestows fortune, wealth, respect, good habits, inheritance, gains through property/ parents. The native is courteous and cordial but may become adulterous in middle age. Saturn in Libra gives Raj Yog, gift of speech and honour in assembly but, on the negative side, excessive sexual drive and association with undesirable women and wandering.

2L in 10th House indicates prosperity coming in from self-exertion, government service, politics, elders, awards/ lottery, etc. Moon ( Amatya Karaka) in 2nd House promises gains from trade, industry, govt., parents/ ancestors and makes one a linguist but having limited progeny. Jupiter (PiK), gives gains through scholarly/ artistic efforts, and service and respect and comfort in old age, but causes losses through sickness and subordinates. Ketu promises income from questionable sources, with comfort, happiness and wealth in old age but also loss of reputation.

3L in 2nd House is counter indicative to health, morals, virtuosity, enterprise, comforts and longevity

4L in Lagna makes the native blessed with maternal-love, education, landed property, Venus hicles and virtues.

5L in Lagna makes for a knowledgeable/ intelligent, kind-hearted, shrewd, learned and renowned person who has good knowledge of politics/ government but, however, may be deprived of progenic comforts and aspiring after others' wealth.

6L in 2nd House makes the native courageous, orator, duty-bound and having good wealth and earning, but living in foreign lands and having poor health.

7L in 10th House makes the native wealthy, blessed with progeny, religious, physical pleasure seeker and having a strong-willed spouse.

8L in Lagna gives long life, difficult childhood but prosperity in later years. Rahu (Gnati Karaka) in 8th House is indicative of dushmaran yoga (caused by rivals/ opponents - Gnati Karaka, and Sun in 3 from AL indicate use firearms, Mercury fall or crash and Venus - prior knowledge- please confirm), but also promotes health, longevity, gifts, legacies/ inheritance, etc.

9L in Lagna indicates a virtuous, pious, scholarly, good-looking and long-lived person who will have a continuous flow of money and shall be engaged in religious pursuits.

10L in 2nd House causes a Simhasana Yoga, which fructifies after middle age. It also shows that family business will be a major source of income, as also a possible association with food/ hotel industry - on account of 10L being Moon. This placement also indicates a virtuous, wealthy, honoured and charitable person, who may, on the negative side, be avaricious and somewhat hostile to his mother. Placement of Mars in 10th House indicates gains from occupation, profession, trade, govt. and in-laws, as also an honorable and professionally supportive partner.

11L is placed in its own, and Mool Trikona house, promising a long life, many sons and grandsons, good-looks, fame for learning and possessions, and, in general, gains from all pursuits. Sun-Dara Karaka, placed in Lagna indicates respect, regard, wealth, bravery, courage, parental property, gains from unique/ ingenious friends, acquaintances and brothers. LE placement of Sun gives short temper, courage, strength, vigour, learning, royal bearing and proficiency in arts. Mercury placed in Lagna gives fortune, friendship, friendship with travelers/ foreigners, scientists, legislators, but also adulterous tendencies leading to waste of wealth, debts etc., and likely sufferings on account of religion/ convictions. Venus again indicates gains from wife, friends, employer (bonus), even speculation, generous nature, good temperament and lucky and comfortable middle life.

12L in Lagna indicates rich, long-lived, famous and truthful person who will, inspite of dhanayogas, suffer loss of wealth.

Navamsa: Mercury as Atma Karaka indicates that the native should control his speech and be truthful at all times.

Atma Karaka placed in 10th house, on the other hand, indicates that the native is blessed with a clean heart and good home and be a pillar for his family and mother, with Saturn in 12 from Atma Karaka indicates Narayana as Ishta Devata.

PI lagna makes the native law-abiding, religious and righteous but Ketu in Navamsa indicates dubious means of earning as also earnings through use of heavy (elephants) as well as precision/ electronic/ computer/ delicate (watch) equipment as also ear related ailments. It also gives expertise in mathematics, and possibly astrology, which may be inherited.

Jupiter aspect to Swamsa bestows all round knowledge in traditional as well as modern subjects. Rahu aspect also confirms mathematical expertise and gives research-oriented outlook.

Mars owning 2nd House leads to passion and illicit relationships

Venus in 5th House indicates literary faculties of the native, including authorship, poetry, critic and eloquence. Moon’s aspect may give knowledge on Yogas and shastras and musical abilities.

Jupiter in 7th House gives a fair & beautiful wife but Rahu’s conjunct. may indicate a wife from widow or one from different community and Mars may indicate some physical disability to her.

Saturn in 9th House gives dishonesty and other negative qualities and make him betray elders/ preceptors but aspect of Sun would make the native faithful and confidant of his elders/ teachers. This being 12th from Atma Karaka, also indicates inclination towards black magic, spirit worship, etc. Simultaneous presence of Ketu in Lagna confirms the knowledge of mantras and occult but presence of Venus in 5th House and Rasi aspect of Jupiter and Mercury, (although along with Rahu & Mars), may indicate white magic.

Mercury in 10th House indicates success and fame in any line of activity.

Break of KSY:

As the leading planet of KAY, Ketu is conjunct. a Gaj Kesari Yog, the KAY may break Karaka 24th year, of Moon, or 30th year, of Jupiter.

Otherwise the KAY is expected to last for 43 years.

Commencement of KAY from 2nd House could also mean duration of 33 years for the KAY.

In general, presence of Raj Yog and Gaj Kesari Yog would indicate moderate sufferings, perhaps limited to hard work.

Summary:

The most striking feature of this chart is 2nd House

- It contains the Ketu - leader of KAY, seated in its exaltation and own house.

- It contains Gaj Kesari Yog - involving strong Jupiter & Moon.

- The Pitri Karaka Jupiter, conjunct. Amatya Karaka Moon is aspect by MK Mars and Gnati Karaka Rahu.

- It's lord is involved in a Parivartan Yoga with 10L.

Therefore, the focus of the native's problems is likely to be his KARMars and his DHAN.

Overall, the two nodes are strong as they are posited in their Exalt. houses, Ketu also being co-lord of 2nd House SC.

Libra lagna is occupied by the yoga-Karaka Saturn (but along with Mnd & Glk) in Lagna & 2L -7L Mars is deb. in 10th House. All other quadrants and trines are un-occupied.

On the other hand, conjunction of Gaja Kesari Yoga with Ketu, in the 2nd House- dhansthan- causes the KAY to break Karaka prematurely, at the same time promising wealth, prosperity and recognition.

The involvement of Jupiter and Moon in breaking the KAY gives rise to Maha-Padma and Maha-Sankha Yogas respectively.

The native is presently running Ketu Vim Dasha and SG Nar Dasha - its lord conjunct. Vim Dasha lord and the house itself is aspect by, and is 7th from AL. Ketu is the leader of KAY and conjunct. Jupiter- lord of 3rd House-SG, This may be a crucial period in the evolution of KAY.

There is also a Parivartan Yoga involving lords of 2nd House and 10th House.

Mercury, the Atma Karaka, is also the maha-Yogada and Mars, MK, is a strong yogada and Kevala.

In D9, Atma Karaka Mercury, in AL, aspect Pitri Karaka Jupiter and creates a Raj Yog, which also aspects Swamsa.

The mutual Rasi aspect of Swamsa and Karkamsa indicates high level of success.

Overall, the chart indicates a very well intelligent, knowledgeable and blessed native. He will have expertise in mathematics, mantras and yoga and astrology, literary, artistic and musical interests. He will have a fair and pretty spouse from a cultural and wealthy background but may be from a different community or a widow.

The problem area seems to be the strong inclination of the native towards illicit relationships and short temper.

He will rise very high in life but his success may give rise to jealous opponents who may be the cause of his un-natural and perhaps a violent death.

Comments:

This chart belongs to a young man who has just completed 18th year and has had a fairly uneventful and reasonably comfortable life - except that during his first few months at his nursery school, he suffered in the hands of a sadist teacher – he was shifted to a different school and had no further problem.

He had some health problems in the early childhood, including one rather prolonged internal nose-bleeding; he has a very HOT constitution, and is big-boned, tall and has a biggish physique.

After a fairly good academic record at school level, this year he enrolled for an undergraduate course in Mech. Engg. as a hostler. He has a younger brother.

To the best of my knowledge, so far he has not undergone any suffering that one would associate with a KAY.

General:

This chart has a KSY on 6/12 axis, with Lagna outside the Rahu-Ketu arc. The involvement of 6/12 axis would indicate excessive sufferings due to misfortune/ bad-habits, health, superiors as well as subordinates in service, etc. On the other hand, this combination would also lead to aversion to sensuality on one hand and attraction towards spirituality on the other.

All the planets being in the invisible half of zodiac also indicate spiritual/ non-materialistic promise held out in the chart.

This chart has a number of Raja Yogas which break Karaka the KSY, the strongest being the Gaja Kesari Yoga in a Kendra (10th house).

Mars as Atma Karaka indicates violent streaks of native’s character and the need to curb the same. On the other hand, its occupation of 2nd house in D-9 indicates saintliness of the native.

Ishta Devata Saturn, which is chara Pitri Karaka, indicates the guidance may come from father/ elders, and Narayana is the Ishta Deity.

In Rashi chart, Atma Karaka Mars & Pitri Karaka Saturn are conjunct in 7th houses, forming a strong Raja Yoga, but indicating marital problems (Mars in 7), perhaps because of older/ detached wife (Saturn in 7). This combination also has Rasi aspect of Rahu, reconfirming the marital problems, and perhaps undesirable problems with the other sex.

However, Saturn in 7th House also indicates foreign travel/ residence, strengthened by 7L in own house and Rahu in 12nd House.

Saturn, lord of 9 & 10 houses, is a Raja Yoga Karaka and Kevala.

Venus, Lagna lord also casts Rasi aspect on HL & GL, and conjuncts Mercury, which qualifies both these planets as Maha-Yogadas. These two natural benefics, Venus -Gnati Karaka & Mercury-Dara Karaka, lords of angle & trine respectively, conjuncting in 11th house, the house of gains, create a very powerful Maharaja Yoga. Venus in Lagna would indicate gains from women/ public service, whereas Mercury indicates relatives, litigation, etc.

And this yoga is formed in the second house from the Karma house, which houses Gaja Kesari Yoga formed by Putra Karaka-Jupiter & MK-Moon.

Both Jupiter & Moon, forming this Gnati KarakaYoga, are weAtma Karaka, having low SAV points, and Moon is an extreme malefic, birth being on amavasya day.

In Navamsa, Aquarious Lagna indicates construction of large structures (lakes, tanks, roads, temples, etc.) by the native.

Rahu in 5th House confirms the above, as it indicates heavy engg. related works.

Mars in 2nd House, aspected by Venus, indicates an excessively passionate native & that the tendencies will persist throughout the life - Lagna argala of Jupiter reinforces these tendencies and Rasi aspect of Rahu indicates that these tendencies may be carried to obsessive limits cause (financial) ruin of the native - all this is a reconfirmation of the indications of D-1.

Rahu in 5th House, with 4th and Rasi aspect of Mars indicates proficiency in black magic, but also a weAtma Karaka chest/ lungs and respiratory ailments.

Jupiter in 12nd House indicates elevation to higher worlds after death but Rahu in 4th from Karkamsa indicates rebirth thereafter.

Break of KSY:

Due to Lagna being outside the Rahu/Ketu arc, Lagna Lord Venus may help to break Karaka this KSY at an earlier age, at the natural age Venus - 25/26 years.

Similarly presence of Gaj Kesari Yog may help to breaking this yoga at the natural age of Jupiter – 30 years.

KSY is normally expected to continue upto the natural age of KSY, i.e. 45 years.

Another school of thought states the following years as the duration of KSY and would suggest that, for this native, KSY will run upto 54th year. The general rules in this case, for the KSY starting in various houses are:

- in 1st house: upto 27 years of age.

- in 2nd house: upto 33 years of age.

- in 3rd house: upto 36 years of age.

- in 4th house: upto 42 years of age.

- in 5th house: upto 48 years of age.

- in 6th house: upto 54 years of age.

Summary:

The KSY on 6/12 axis, indicates excessive sufferings due to misfortune/ bad-habits, health, superiors as well as subordinates in service, etc. After the KSY breaks, this combination would also lead to aversion to sensuality on one hand and attraction towards spirituality on the other.

This chart shows a native with an unusual and extreme personality who, mainly through his own efforts, will be extremely rich and (in)famous, will suffer due to his own excesses and yet will become spiritual and rise to higher worlds.

His vocation would be civil/ heavy engg., perhaps government contracts, where he may make high profits, and may be involved in heavy litigations too.

He may marry a lady elder to him, who may also happen to be his competitor too, and her wealth or prosperity could be a reason for her marriage. The lady may belong to different community.

The married life would be troublesome, caused by undesirable liaisons of the native with the opposite sex – which in turn could be caused by the detachment/ disinterest of the marriage partner. The extra-marital liaisons may also lead to financial ruin of the native.

All this may lead the native towards spirituality and elevation.

Since both Jupiter & Moon, though weak, are involved in breaking the KSY, and it happens in a kendra- 10th house, it creates a beneficial, and perhaps lasting Maha-Sankha and Maha-Padma Yogas, which will give a great rise in status and prosperity to the native, along with, perhaps, beginning of a new heavy engg. or contruction giant.

The Dasha of Atma Karaka is supposed to be a period of struggle and evolution but in this chart Mars Vim-Dasha will set in very late. And rthe presence of KSY will prevent the Atma Karaka from weilding any effect till the KSY is broken.

Query: Is it likely that in this connection, Saturn- which conjuncts Atma Karaka Mars and forms a Raj Yog with it - may assume that role and its Vim-mahadasa, which started in May 2001, may assume that role.

Comments:

This chart belongs to a very intelligent young boy who is almost always at the top of his class without any apparent effort. He will be appearing for IIT entrance in 2003. He has an elder sister - an engg. student.

So far the native has not faced any sufferings as be is blessed with doting parents. The boy has been accident prone and has a weAtma Karaka constitution but seems to have overcome that age.

I request the respected Gurus and seniors to help me identify the potentially problemetic areas and time-spans.

General:

In Rasi Chart, there are several Raj Yog and Vipreet Raj Yog, with Saturn being the Maha-Kevala and Jupiter being a strong Yogada.

A potentially strong Raj Yog is formed by the Parivartana between 5L Saturn and Lagna Lord Mercury, but both the plantes are very weAtma Karaka in their respective position, having 2 SAV each.

The double Vipreet Raj Yog formed by 3L & 8L Mars, in 6th House is much more promising, with Mars having only 2 SAV points. However, this Vipreet Raj Yog does not connect with Atma Karaka and connects only indirectly with Lagna, through the Vipreet Raj Yog Rasi lord Saturn being posited in Lagna.

A Gaj Kesari Yog is formed by a strong Jupiter and average Moon conjuncting in 6th House, a dusthana.

Lagna Lord in 5th indicates a possible denial of progenic bliss, friendly, but short-tempered nature and lack of self-confidence/ leadership qualities, with dirty habits, possibly a womaniser, but at the same time wealthy and crafty.

2L in 6th House indicates wealth from relatives, service, children loans and questionable sources. 2L is also Pitri Karaka.

3L, and specifically Mars, in 6th House controls the passions and promises sudden gains through conquests (over rivals/ enemies/ followers/ partners).

4L, Jupiter, placed in 6th House makes the native over-competitive and fond of combats/ confrontations.

5L in Lagna makes the native very intelligent, kind-hearted and knowledgeable. It is augmented by Mercury in 5th House which makes the native intelligent, wise and sweet-tongued. Sun in the same place re-confirms him as a brilliant, creative, intelligent, socialising, happy-go-lucky person but also denies progenic comforts, with few children and being not very beneficial for the daughter in particular. This conjunctn. of Sun & Mercury makes the native virtuous, thus further curbing womanising tendencies.

6L in Lagna tends to give ill-health but makes the native proud, renowned, self-made, virutous, courageous and victorious over enemies/ rivals but also opposed to relatives and siblings.

7L in 6th House indicates lower cultural/ financial/ social status of wife and also their mutual hostility.

8L, Mars, in 6th House indicates a short-tempered person.

9L, also in 6th House, makes the native tormented by opponents but also religiously inclined..

10L in 5th House indicates blessings of progeny, wealth, learning, good health, pios inclinantion and favours from ruler/ authorities.

11L in 6th House indicates foreign residence and pboblems from opponents and sickness.

12L in 5th House makes one spend for the sake of son, reduces happiness from him and makes one to undertake pilgrimemages. Ketu in 12nd House is indicative of renunciation.

In Navamsa, the lagma is in PI, indicating a religious and virtuous person. Position of Jupiter in Lagna makes the native a karmayogi, who can in any filed of activity due to his intelligence. Saturn conjuncting it confirms this success and promises consequent fame.

Mars, in 2nd House and as 2L, aspected by Venus, produces passion which may last till end of life, and illicit relationships

Two natural benefics in 12nd House show elevation of the soul to higher world after death.. Mercury indicates devotion to lord Vishnu and Venus indicates goddess Lakhshmi, whereas Moon, lord of 12nd House from Atma Karaka, indicates Gouri as Ishta Devata.

Break of KSY:

Although there are no benefics, at all, in the angles, the presence of a strong Gaj Kesari Yog causes the KSY to break Karaka. at the age of 24.

Moons natural age of 23/24 would ease the KSY but since Jupiter is stronger, the age for break would be 30, the natural age of Jupiter.

However, the secondary age for Jupiter, 24, coincides with natural age of Moon, and Gaj Kesari Yog breaks the KSY, hence 24 could be the indicated year.

Otherwise, KSY is normally expected to continue upto the natural age of KSY, i.e. 45 years or, as per the second school that was mentioned above, KSY would run upto 54th year.

Summary:

This is an extremely peculiar chart, that has several interesting features, such as:

1. Not a single benefic, either in Angles or in trines

2. KSY on 6/12 axis

3. Conjunction. of 5 planets, 2 benefic and 3 malefics, in the 6th House, including 3 & 8 lord, Mars, a Pravrajya Yoga in a dusthana.

4. Mutual Rasi aspect between Lagna, GL and HL, with Rx Saturn in Lagna, itself generating a RY

5. Presence of Ketu in 12nd House.

The KSY is on 6/12 axis, normally indicating excessive sufferings due to misfortune/ bad-habits, health, superiors as well as subordinates in service, etc. After the KSY breaks, this combination would also lead to aversion to sensuality on one hand and attraction towards spirituality on the other.

This chart shows a native with an egoistic and a very aggressive person, who may have be constantly troubled due to opponents on one hand and his own relations with his immediate family on the other. He will rise high in life by overcoming his rivals, and even partners, but may suffer due to lack of progenic bliss.

There are several conflicting indication in the chart – especially in the 6th House of Rashi chart.

Presence of several very strong Raj Yog and Vipreet Raj Yog show a comfortable life, easing the rigours of the KSY.

Comments:

This chart belongs to a very intelligent and self made individual, who spent a better part of his early life in several foreign countries – first with his father who was in foreign service and then in the merchant navy- before settling down in Hyderabad where he is successfully running two industrial units – a foundry and a stone quarry/ crusher- and have acquired several properties.

He had a fairly comfortable childhood and has a strong physique and robust health, as per his age.

Both his parents are still alive.

To the best of my knowledge, he has a very cordial and close relationship with his wife and daughter, though his relations with son are strained (who ran away from home for a short duration a few years back).

He is a compassionate and helping person who has lost a lot of money trying to help his needy friends and relatives.

This is contrary to the KSY indications (sufferings due to health, opponents, etc.) and to the imbalanced nature of his chart, which indicates womaniser, excessive passion, Vipreet Raj Yog and inheritance.

Is it possible the the Gaj Kesari Yog fructified at the age of 5, the secondary age for Moon, when Jupiter-Moon Vim. Dasha was running, causing the KSY to break Karaka, and laying the foundation for his subsequent progress, success and prosperity.

I have failed to locate appropriate indications for the following:

1. frequent change of residence, and countries, in the childhood

2. career as a seaman, in merchant navy (he was a radio officer)

3. present line of business – steel foundry, heavy machinery, stone quarry

4. loss through friends and relatives- whom he tried to help

May I request you to guide me to identify the indications that I have either missed or mis-interpreted.

Rath: Too much generalisation. Lagnesh is not in Lagna and in the 11th it gives good income, but why liasion with other women? this point about Lagnesh is not correct. As the Bhratrikaraka it represents the Guru as well and this is a good spiritual aspect.

Rath: Emperor Akbar did not have any liasion with undesirable women. In fact he had liasion with many 'desirable' women! See his chart. Explain each point clearly as to why it happens. Speech: Saturn has argala on Mercury is to be added. Second Lord is in debility but attains neechabhanga because of saturn in Lagna and hence saturn gives controlled speech. In this manner explain your points with arguments pertaining to the result you attribute. Saturn aspects the seventh house and also the darapada in the tenth house as well as the seventh Lord Mars. Mars in tenth also gives Jara Yoga and thus this can indicate relations with undesirable women as Mars the lord of seven is in debility and aspected by saturn...Like this.

Rath: Chart analysis needs to be explained for each combination or result as indicated earlier. In some places you have given this very well but not in many other.

Rath: How did you arrive at this point explain

Rath: Good observations. very good.

Rath: Not commenting anymore on loose statements without reasons.

The problem area seems to be the strong inclination of the native towards illicit relationships and short temper.

Rath: Saturn in Lagna is the cause of his problem..how does he get over this..suggest a remedy.

He will rise very high in life but his success may give rise to jealous opponents who may be the cause of his un-natural and perhaps a violent death.

Rath: Absurd..Must explain this clearly. To my little knowledge he will die most peacefully due to a disease.

Rath: This is what I wanted to hear. In Kala Amrita Yoga the break caused by Jupiter and Moon is very effective and KAY is almost defunct. Since this Yoga occurs in the second house, it shall start working from childhood itself and shows the change in school i.e. second school was better (Moon - 2nd). Chart needs a minor correction and Lagna should be just above 18 degrees. Thus the break of KAY was early as it occured in second house and that too due to Jup & Moon. In KSY, the Sun is more important.

Rath: There is an error out here. The principle for calculation is that half the Ayus is covered in 9x6=54 years. So, 6th house is 54 years. 5th house is 54-6=48 years; 4th house is 48-6=42 years; 3rd house is 42-6=36years; 2nd house is 36-6=30 years and 1st house is 30-6=24 years. Thus, 7th house onwards is again 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, and 54 years. However, the natural years of maturity are found to be more effective as in the case of India, freedom from KAY came exactly in the 43rd year i.e. 1947+43=1990 (last of the Nehru dynasty and concept of inheritance of the throne of India was lost as the subsequent PM's were from different families as necessary under the principle of democracy.

He may marry [in his 29th year] a lady elder to him, who may also happen to be his competitor too, and her wealth or prosperity could be a reason for her marriage [No, it will be a love marriage and father may not be very happy initially, but happy later; may travel abroad or to a distant place just before this marriage]. The lady may belong to different community.

The married life would be troublesome, caused by undesirable liaisons of the native with the opposite sex – which in turn could be caused by the detachment/ disinterest of the marriage partner. The extra-marital liaisons may also lead to financial ruin of the native.[You have not spared anybody from liasions..please justify]

Rath: I agree. It is also the dispositor of the Rahu, leading the KSY. This is the period when too many changes will be seen. How he develops is important.

Rath: Accident proneness is due to Mars in Marana Karaka sthana and also as the AK with a terrible conjunction with Saturn. The KSY will not be able to manifest in early life due to the conjunction of Jupiter with the Sun & Moon and that too in the tenth house. But between the years of Maturity of Mars (28) till Rahu (45), the KSY will show its color.

Rath: When the KSY is fully broken, where will you see its results. Totally broken, especially with the Moon conjoining Jupiter in doing the break.

I have failed to locate appropriate indications for the following:

1. frequent change of residence, and countries, in the childhood

Rath: Lagna Lord in a Chara Rasi (that too of saturn) having an exchange with Saturn and conjoined the 12th Lord. cause was the Sun (father)

2. career as a seaman, in merchant navy (he was a radio officer)

Rath: House of income is the eleventh from Arudha lagna i.e. Pisces (sea). Tenth lord from the Moon is Mars that is in the sixth house of service showing the use of technical skills. Tenth Lord from lagna is Mercury conjoining the Sun in a chara rasi showing a lot of travel in connection with profession and this is also confirmed by its placement in 12th house in Navamsa with Venus (karaka for travel). If he has also worked for many foreign ship companies, the dasamsa lagna needs to be corrected slightly to Gemini.

3. present line of business – steel foundry, heavy machinery, stone quarry

Rath: Confirms my doubts - correct the time to Dasamsa Lagna of Gemini.

4. loss through friends and relatives- whom he tried to help

Rath: 12th from AL is aspected by too many planets. decipher this individually.

May I request you to guide me to identify the indications that I have either missed or mis-interpreted.

Best Wishes

Sanjay Rath

Namaste Sanjay ji,

Thank you very much for your detailed evaluation and comments.

These charts are special to me and I DO WANT TO DO a thorough analysis of them - KSY1 belongs to my nephew(sister's son), KSY2 to a close friend (who has same birth date as me & my wife) and KAY is my elder son.

I am studying your instructions and reworking on the charts. For my analysis, I have basically relied on your two books, COVA & JUpS, along with the books of PVN, Dr Charaks and Dr Chaudhary.

I shall submit my corrections and explanations after completing the above.

With sincere regards,

Shailesh Chandra Chadhascchadha

PS: Is there any specific reason that you write my name as 'SAILESH' and not 'SHAILESH'??
