Vyam Vysadevaya Namah

-----------------

Dear Gurudeva,

a) Upon exploring strengths of your fathers; Sun, Venus, Mercury & Jupiter. I've found that Jupiter falls shortest of Rashmis. I calculated the Rashmis as per the guidelines given by Parasara(Santhanams Translation).

Does this have some relevance?

It may not explain why Jupiter was excluded, but just wanted to know whether strength could be an option.

b) I've been having reoccuring incidents every Friday, where i find you teaching me, whilst i sleep. This friday, you were talking about some pairs of houses, for some specific purpose, not entirely sure which (3rd & 7th, 4th & 8th, etc), and once i realised this i woke up.

I suspect that this is due to Astral Travel, is there any other way than practicing Dhyana Yoga, to attain mastery over this?

Should i begin perfecting this during the Suns transit to Mrityupada, which is current for me?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Best wishes, Visti.

Om Gurave Namah

Dear Visti

Did yu find that explanation about rashmi's convincing? I am not at all satisfied.

What you are talking about is Asraya concept. Every house has a tendency to protect the fifth from itself as the fifth holds the key to the future and divinition also. Surprisingly, about two Fridays back ..it was a friday when I was discussing this with Sri Goel and explaining about the tendency of Mars and his special aspect on the eighth house as he tends to protect his property and lands with all his might and the eighth is the fifth from the 4th house..your astral travel is going to take you places young man.

Pranayama shouls precede your dhyana

Dear Gurudeva,

>Did yu find that explanation about rashmi's convincing? I am not at all satisfied.

As far as i know there are two ways of calculating this and also two names; Kala and Rashmi.

I read this in Bphs:

1) The further away from the planets debilitation sign, a planet is more Kalas it gets. Some correction can then be done on the basis of its placement in Exaltation, Moolatrikona, etc Rasi.

2) As per what i've read in Uttara Kalamrita, which i think you are reffering to; take the lords, and with their respetive kalas add them, and remove multiples of 12.

2 i would throw away, unless offcourse the addition wasn't used. Instead maybe multiplication as you have stated in the past.

I used 1 to figure out the rasmhi's of the Grahas, pasted bellow:

Dear Visti,

Krishna had 16 rays of the Moon. Is this possible? It is a well known fact that the Chandra Kala are 16 Maximum and that these are the basis for the reckoning of the Nadi's using the 16 Divisional charts. The point is that a lot of BPHS is missing and unless we have that, we really don't know where to go.

Division by 12 is absurd as then, the result can never be more than 12 and how do we arrive at 16..

Best Wishes
