Guest guest
Dear Gurudev Co-incidentally, this weekend's front page newspaper article was on the ban of SMS in Bombay for a day, by the police (to stop rumour-contagion). So even the authorities listen to you! (who else can I confidently joke with, except our own Guru). Some of your points understood. However, this " enemy of karaka " is what I picked up from CoVA. ONLY from CoVA actually. Let me enunciate what I understood: Every house has many significators. In my notes, I have only Jp (aarghhh!), Jupiter, as the significator for the 11th, as representing both gain/ growth & elder sibling. Now, if natural enemies of Jupiter are posted there, such as Rahu, a bitter enemy (Saturn is neutral, and comes under the influence of Jupiter easily if Jupiter is strong & benign), I thought it WOULD create havoc there. So would Mercury & Venus, unless they were by lordship or other association with Jupiter, be favourable in the 11th. IGNORING what I have understood, with my limited knowledge, how does one use this concept (of friend/ enemy of the karaka of the house where a planet is placed), at all. This concept was grinded so basically in me after reading CoVA, that I hope you will find the time to dispel this BASIC darkness. I have understood about 12th lord viprit in 8, & strong as exalted. Guest guest
om gurave namah------------------------Dear Nandan Jupiter as Karaka for 11th from Lagna represents elder brothers and 11th from AL is for income. Now what happens if an enemy of the Karaka is in the 11th house? I will twist this for another house so that you can get it better. Lets say saturn is the Karaka for the 8th house. Is the placement of Moon in this house good? No it is not as the 8th is a dusthana and the placement of the Moon out here will damage the Moon and the health will suffer. Now come to the 7th house. venus is Karaka. In a prasna chart you find Saturn out here, what do you predict..immediate marriage i.e. karaka's friend does the job. Look at two other planets out here. Mercury the cause of denility of Venus and Mars out here ..terrible. Can cause homosexuality in the first case and kill spouse in the other case. Fighting in the bedroom with spouse i its better mood and rape in its ferocious mood can be some of the nice things we have to talk about Mars in the 7th house. Now get back to the 11th. This is not a kendra and instead a trika. An evil house. So, if Jupiters dire enemy Rahu Maharaj is here, he gets the beating of his life and is forced to dole out the money he has grabbed through various means..sharing spoils and loot, gains from criminals etc are some of the indications. Is this good? Judge for yourself. Saturn is really not an enemy of Jupiter and will give money from servants, labor or sometimes some negative things as well. These planets in the 11th house together will surely kill the elder brother and is Saturn alone is placed, then the brother shall die later in the youth or middle age of the native. Is this good? Then what is good about Saturn or Rahu in the 11th from Lagna/AL?With best wishesSanjay Rath Web: http://sanjayrath.tripod.comServices: http://sanjayrath.tripod.com/zservices.htmJyotish Digest: http://jyotishdigest.com/SJVC: http://www.sjvc.org/ - Nandan Chakraborty varahamihira Monday, March 18, 2002 11:01 AM Enemy of Karaka Re: [Hare Rama Krishna] Paralysis for 30 yrs: 1st SJVC meeting at Bombay Dear GurudevCo-incidentally, this weekend's front page newspaper article was on theban of SMS in Bombay for a day, by the police (to stoprumour-contagion). Guest guest
Dear Gurudev After reading your lucid e-mail I thought I understood. Then today, I referenced CoVA again : a)Merc-Moon: pg 235: Merc (X) affects Moon (Y) badly as Y is X's enemy. b) Moon-Ven: (Ven: Moon= enemy, Moon: Ven= neutral): pg 167: Ve in 5= being 2 from 4= bad for mother (4). c) Merc-Mars: (Mars: Merc= enemy, Merc: Mars= neutral): Mars conjoin 2nd lord in 11 (also then, aspects 2)= wealth, BUT speak late in childhood (as Merc= karak of 2 for speech, & is natural enemy of Mars). So, when indeed to use this concept of " planet X's natural relation to the karak of the house it occupies " , is again blurring in my mind. Solai Guru did give me an important hint, that it is to do with karakatwa & not karak. Ihhought I understood, then. But again, it is blurring in my mind today. I think I shall use the red telefone today Pranams Nandan --- Sanjay Rath <srath wrote: > > om gurave namah > ------------------------ > Dear Nandan > Jupiter as Karaka for 11th from Lagna represents elder brothers and > 11th > from AL is for income. WHAT IS THE CASE ABOUT? b) Moon-Ven: (Ven: Moon= enemy, Moon: Ven= neutral): pg 167: Ve in 5=being 2 from 4= bad for mother (4). RIGHT..YOU GOT IT RIGHT. VEN IS BAD FOR MOTHER NO DOUBT. SHE CAN HAVE DISEASE. c) Merc-Mars: (Mars: Merc= enemy, Merc: Mars= neutral): Mars conjoin2nd lord in 11 (also then, aspects 2)= wealth, BUT speak late inchildhood (as Merc= karak of 2 for speech, & is natural enemy of Mars). So, when indeed to use this concept of "planet X's natural relation tothe karak of the house it occupies", is again blurring in my mind.Solai Guru did give me an important hint, that it is to do withkarakatwa & not karak. Ihhought I understood, then. But again, it isblurring in my mind today. LOOK AT SAMBANDHA FROM ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW.THERE ARE UMPTEEN POSSIBILITIES. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW IS WHAT IS THE FIRST REACTION. MERCURY AND MARS GET INTO A DUEL OF AHIMSA & HIMSA, JUP & RAHU GET INTO ANOTHER DUEL OF SAT & ASAT..AND SO ON. KNOW THE BASICS BETTER AND ANALYSE THE CHART FOR WHAT IS REALLY GOOD. IN THE CASES YOU HAVE CITED, VENUS IS BAD FOR MOTHER AL RIGHT, BUT THEN WE CAN ALSO BE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHAT IS BAD. LIKE I SAID RAHU IN THE 11TH IS BAD FOR ELDER CO-BORN. HERE THE KARAKA FOR THE 11TH IS JUPITER, NOW RAHU IS 12 IS NOT GOING TO BECOME FRIENDLY TO JUPITER AND WILL STILL HAVE PAPARGALA ON THE 11TH HOUSE ATTEMPTING TO DAMAGE ELDER CO-BORN, BUT THEN THIS CANNOT BE AS BAD AS THE KARAKA FOR THE 12TH HOUSE IS SATURN. THIS IS A RELATIVELY BETTER POSITION THAN THE 11TH ITSELF. ALSO BEAR IN MIND THE SPECIFIC KARAKATWA THAT WE SPEAK OF. THE DAMAGE IS TO THE KARAKATWA AS SOLAI HAS ALREADY EXPLAINED TO YOU.I think I shall use the red telefone todayPranamsNandan--- Sanjay Rath <srath wrote: > > om gurave namah> ------------------------> Dear Nandan> Jupiter as Karaka for 11th from Lagna represents elder brothers and> 11th> from AL is for income.
