Whenever you want to understand or decipher anybodys mental/intellectual inclinations or interests in education or otherwise, firstly check the Navamsa especially the trines, then read the D24 or Siddhamsa chart with special emphasis on 4H and probably 9H. Navamsa Lagna is Cancer, with Ketu in it could mean the natives natural inclination towards Abstract subjects or Electronics. In D24, 4H has Mars, with Argala from nodes and aspect from Mercury, could probably mean that the native could pursue education in the field of Computers(Mercur) with connection to Electronics(Nodes). Once having ascertained this, one can go to Dasamsa or D10 and ascertain the line of profession one will be engaged in, with special emphasis on the Artha Trikona(2H, 6H & 10H and their lords). In D10, houses 2 & 10 are equally strong and aspect each other. So profession should be determined by their combination(s). Moon & Ketu aspected by Mercury once again points to an intellectual profession connected with electronics & Computers. The aspect of saatwik planets Sun & Jupiter shows either working for governments or as a consultant(Jupiter) or as a Manger(Sun). The graha dristi of exalted Mars on the 10H shows the natives dynamic and assertive inclination towards his work. A note on Varga Narayana Dasa calculation. To calculate the Narayana Dasa of D-n, we find the nth lord in Rasi chart, and find its position in D-n. As an example, to find D10 Narayana Dasa, we find 10L in Rasi chart, and find its position in D-10. Lets say this position is H, then find the stronger of houses H & H+7. The Narayana Dasa will start from this house. You might want to recalculate the D10 Narayana Dasa. Note: To find D24 Narayana Dasa, use the 12L or 4L. The 12L shows the Informal knowledge, where as the 4L stresses emphasis on AParaa Vidya or Formal School Education. I forgot to add my query as to how to judge, " as to when the native is going to get her job " . My doubt is whether we have to judge from 5th house in Rasi Chart using Vimsottari Dasa or Narayana Dasa or D10.
