Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Respected Gurus of this list, Namaste, Some time back, I had sent a mail to Gurus requesting for their confirmation about their participation in this Workshop, and also seeking their feedback on certain issues. Gurudev had posted that mail on the Achyuta list as well. I have received only three replies so far, and Gurudev has confirmed that he has not received any other mails. We are now less than 8 weeks away from the starting date and, therefore, are anxious to tie-up all the loose ends. On the otherhand, this lack of response is also forcing a re-thinking about the wisdom of conducting the Workshop, especially in the present disturbed atmosphere. This prospect of cancellation of Workshop has disappointed us all at Hyderabad chapter, who have been entusiastically working for the success of this event and have allready made arrangements and commitments in this connection. In this connection, I would like to draw your attention to the following: After the recent happening, it is imperative that SJC group re-establishes its credibility and a successful event is the best way to do so. On the other hand, cancellation, or even postponement of the Workshop will have a precisely contrary effect. Several participants, Gurus and students alike, have made their personal arrangement for attending the Workshop, like traveling arrangements, applying for leaves and other sightseeing arrangements. They will be forced to make cancellations/ re-adjustements resulting in losses to them. The moral responsibility for such losses will be ours, the organisors of this Workshop and we do not want to have to face it in our very first attempt to organise an event for SJV. We have made various reservations and paid advances - substantial parts of agvances will be lost due to any cancellations. We, at SJV-Hyderabad, humbly request our respected Gurus to give their serious consideration to the above and guide us about our future course of action.
