Om Gurave NamahDear Phly, You have a very valid point here. The Dasa Pravesh chart is nothing but a solar return chart (when used for Narayana dasa) although it has been extended for use with the Vimsottari and other udu dasa as well. While we can have such a chart for each year, it defeats the purpose. Drawing a fresh chart for each year would mean that we are drawing as many as 120 charts for each indivdual! Thats not what Jyotish is about - you will always find me simplifying things, removing complications and making the whole study more meaningful and easy to understand. If we can do the job with ONE chart, why do we need so many charts (each antardasa). Point is never complicate. Since DPC is calculated for the beginning of a dasa, would it be possible to calculate an additional, or modified DPC, for the onset of each antardasa?
