I have the

1992 Santhanam edition of BPHS, Ranjan Publications, and sloka 29-30 (of Chapter

30 on Upapada) reads as follows:

29-30. “MANY

SONS AND MANY DAUGHTERS: O Brahmin, if Leo happens to be Upapada and is

aspected by the Moon, there will be a limited number of children. Similarly,

Virgo will cause many daughters.”

Is this

what you are missing? (I am not at all versed in either the Hindi transcript

(slokas) or the language that you have written below, so I’m not sure this is

at all what is missing in your text, or is even what you are looking for?)

In my edition, (when my book first

arrived in the early 90’s) I was missing pages 103 through 104, AND 106 through

112…so I had to track someone down with the same version to fill in the missing

pages. Luckily I did both locate and receive them, and taped them into my book.

I came upon a sloka in Santhanams edition of BPHS, which hasn't

been translated. Its sloka 30 of the Chapter on Upapada;

Actually the translation you gave was for sloka 29, sloka 30 hasn't been translated. Unless you can read sanskrit, you will miss this.

Yes i also lack some pages in the yoga-section.
