Please read Ashtamadhyaya from Book Six of the Srimad Bhagavatam. After the two opening lines, read the 8 lines in Vishvarupa Uvacha, where the Kavach is described and the three mantras written. These three mantras are to be done along with the nyasa and protects the body and mind...this is the Kazakh. After that one should recite the prayer. Perhaps its the prayer that you are aware of and not the complete Kavach itself. If you have Itranslator, I can write it out for you and send it to you.

His Guru was his elder brother, Late Anjam Sri Madhavan Nambudiri who was known as "Nama Acharyan" as he always recited "Om Namo Narayanaya" and always advised everybody to recite it. You may have heard of these great scholars because of their Sapthahams conducted all over India for several decades now.Thanks to this Guru, I have been reciting Narayana Kavacha for many years now and I dont find the mantras you mentioned anywhere there !!!!!Have I missed anything?
