Guest guest
Om Gurave NamahDear DevavratYes there are two Rudra from the Lagna. These are the lords of the 8th houses from Lagna (and 7th house). The stronger is the Prani Rudra and the weaker is the aprani rudra (strength source ONLY FOURTH).MY THEORY!!..I have quoted the scriptures- Sathapatha Brahmana for this, If you want I can quote aitereya and other works as well as the rig Veda. There are 11 Rudra of which the one Who shall separate the Atma from Mana is the Shiva/Maheswara. Leave rudramsa..I shall take this up at a later date. Believe me, there is very little ORIGINAL research in my work..I simply quote and try to follow the elders..Sat is my AK.Best Regards,Sanjay Rath71 Vasant Apartments, Mayur Vihar Ph-1, New Delhi 110091, IndiaTel: +91-11-2713201 Web: http://srath.com http://.org dewavrat2000 [dewavrat2000]Friday, October 18, 2002 6:24 AMvarahamihira Subject: [sJC: Varahamihira] question on rudraOm Namo Bhagavate VasudewayaDear shri Sanjayji,Sashtang Pranam,Sir one of the commentary on jaimini states thatLagna saptamabhyam yoashtmesho durbalah soapi papagrahayutah papagraha drishte va chet rudro bhavatah, prani aprani chetiThe above bhashya is on the sutra:Apraynya pi papa drishtahIt would mean that there are two rudras one prani and aprani. As per your theory there are 11 rudras. Kindly throw some light on the concept and use of prani and aprani rudra. There is much said in the nirayan shoola dasa system on these praniandaprani rudras. Kindly educate me on this aspect.yours dewavrat buitHare Rama KrishnaArchive:varahamihiraFiles:varahamihiravarahamihira/database
