Guest guest
Om Sri Rama Jai Jai Rama Namaste Robert, thanks again for your post... I undertand your email... Yet, why calcuate from Aries? I would think sensitive points relative to my person ( Lagna), Mind ( Janma Nakshatra) Or parents ( 4th or 10th) would be in order... how does Aries tie in? I am sure I must be missing a " common sense " point. Regards, Frank.. varahamihira , " Robert A. I am sure I must be missing a " common sense " point. The exact calculations of the Jyotir-linga are a little vague from the CD's available, yet I took the calculation from Aries, for the following reason: The Moon's progress at 12 degree increments from the Sun, constitute a Tithi, and thus the forward progression of the Moon through 12 degrees, symbolizes its movement through 12 signs of the zodiac. So, if the Moon is displaced from the Sun by a certain percentage of degrees, then taking that percentage from Aries gives its position in the zodiac accordingly. Still, it makes sense to count it from the Sun, or from the lagna too. We will have to hear from Sanjay on this, as this too is an area which I am new to.
