Dear Sanjayji,

 

A technical Q here on Gāruḍi Vidyā.

Both Varaha and Garuda Puranas state

that serpents will not trouble a person who chants the Garuda Mantra or wear Gaurda’s

mandala.

Do you think its mantra is useful in the

case where one’s chart is afflicted by the nodes, especially in the case where

Rahu is in marana sthana (poisons) and where Sarpa Yogas are formed (Rasi or

Navamsa)?

Likewise, a mandala in the case of a

chart where required. In the same context, because the part of Balasura that

was taken by Garuda became Emeralds, then cancer or deadly diseases caused by

Rahu can be quelled with the use of an emerald. (My assumption).

In VRA, you’ve given ( different) remedies

for both Rahu (Rama) and Ketu (Viṣṇu).

 

Just thinking aloud and would appreciate

your opinion.
