Dear Friends,

 

I have been receiving innumerable letters on and off lists on how to

make payments. Please go to http://.org

and click on the membership button, where account details etc. are given. Please

note: we have a single account by the name of Sri Jagannath Centre. Any payment that has to be made for

membership, Jyotish Digest, donations, advertisements etc. has to be made to

this account (except for books and audio sale which is being handled personally

by Shailesh Chadha). So no separate cheques are required for membership or JD.

Please adopt any of the following procedure for sending the amount:

 

 

Post a

cheque. This is the method that has been used by international members and

rs and has worked smoothly.

For

Indians, they can directly deposit the cheques at a local branch of HDFC

Bank. International banks charge a lot for it, although Visti Larsen

directly deposited his money from his bank in Denmark. So you may enquire

from your bank whether or not they can deposit the amount directly. This

is the cheapest and safest method for Indians. This is the safest method

for international members too, although it may not be the cheapest. A

couple of US members wrote in to say that US banks do have this option,

but its expensive as you have to pay a fee or it.

Use

Western Union Money transfer. Western Union has a tie-up with our bank

will transfer the money directly to our account.
