Guest guest
OM Rum Rameshvara Namaha, Dear Sanjayji, I ponder what you have written and offer some thoughts there of: you wrote: " Thought#02: What happens after a person realises his true nature? Realises that he is veriably that atma and that the atma has manifested due to desires? He has a few options - 1. He ignores all pain and suffering and works diligently towards the fulfillment of those desires. [Atmesvara gati] 2. He gives up those desires and continues to exist in his new state. [Mukti -freedom from the bondage of (the present) desire] 3. He gives up desires and seeks escape from this cycle of rebirth. [Moksa - freedom from the bondage of rebirth] 4. He gives up desires and seeks union with the penultimate source from where his real self appeared. [Param padam] " I would suggest that the Sadhu may do the the following: 1. THe realized soul filled with HIM, does the work for HIM. 2. NO thought deed or action is done outside doing ones Dharma. This Dharma is that which fulfills the sadhu's goal and HIS goal at the same time. 3. This Sadhu lives in Bliss and Sat-Chit-Ananda. 4. This Sadhu has burned up the 3 gunas - as a seed is roasted no longer is given to sprout - so his actions are no longer binding. 5. This individual takes on cosmic status and can now pursue full knowledge and the cosmic status of his SELF. It is this Rahu that is said to cause the eclipse. Simiarly, the Rahu of our lives is our own desires and sice Rahu is a node of the Moon (mana), the desires are the creation of the mind. It is the coming together or conjunction of the atma (Sun), mana (Moon) and desires (Rahu) that causes an eclipse or birth itself. > > Just as the brilliance of the Sun is really not diminished during an eclipse, but not visible from the viewpoint of this earth due to the shadow, similarly the power of true cognition remains suspended during the course of life just as it does when a person is asleep and is unaware of what transpires during his sleeping state. It is only when one awakens that you realise the world around you. In a similar way, the atma (self) exists in all purity even though unseen due to the veil of the maya. And just as a person awakening and realising that he was asleep and dreaming, similarly, spiritual awakening causes the person to recognise his true self (atma) and this is self realisation. Simultaneously he realises that the previous state was that of ignorance and was untrue in all respects. > > Obeisances to Sri Dakshinamurthy (Siva the teacher), Who (in real life) is the form of the Guru enabling us to cross over these myriad dreamy states and finally awaken and realise our true nature, the eternal truth. That we are spiritual beings (called Atma) having a material (sareera) experience (mana). > > Thought#02: What happens after a person realises his true nature?
