You take the same distance from lagna to lagnesh, and you measure it from lagnesh. Like if Lagnesh is in second bhava then Arudhapada is in third (from 1H to 2H we have two houses, so from 2H we take two houses and we are on 3H). If Lagnesh is in third then arudhapada is in fifth. Now; because first and seventh are satyaplaces (places of truth), arudhapada (maya) cant fall there, therefore we have these excuses: Lagnesh in first - AL in tenth. Lagnesh in forth - AL in forth. Lagnesh in seventh - AL in tenth. Lagnesh in tenth - AL in forth. Similarly, if Saturn is seemingly malefic, then also problem can arise. I can atleast another 10 combinations where in the saturn could be bad. In other words, we should not talk 'combinations' in isolation. Your father is likely to have more lady enemies- say his sisters or lady colleagues etc. The saturn stalls your income on one hand and ensures an average income in times of difficulty being yoga karaka. He asepcts 11th house hence, he may adversely effect your benefectors. Being in 2nd house and if he is otherwise weak, he would be favoring the mother's brothers, rather than the native himself especially during the saturn dasa. On the other hand, It is very difficult to say how one's career would be on the basis of just one planet for a specific chart. . You would notice that Saturn is a YK to Libra lagna and he is placed in 2nd house. He will be aspecting 8th house, 4th house and 11th house, all being important houses. Hence, certainly it is necessary to see how he would act being in scorpio. I see this true for a little boy who is born in saturn dasa. Vrishabh lagna, saturn in gemini. His father had zero income ever since he was born. However, maternal uncles have made very good progrss!!! It is we who are ignorant can not see the same.
