Guest guest
Shree Ganeshaya Namah, Dear Respected Members, I recently visited one of well known astrologer at Bangalore (he wrote the leading article in Astrological Magazine). After consulting my wife's chart he mentioned that there was a strong Sarpa Dosha and she should recite Durga Kavacham and wear Gomedika for Rahu. Accordingly my wife started reciting Durga Kavacham on last friday (Lakshmi Puja day-9th Nov) and it has resulted in the following: 1. On that day itself there was fight between myself and my wife for no apparent reason (and she ended up fasting for 2 days). This is the first time such a serious situation happened in our 8 years of marraige. 2. My daughter (7 years old) fell down next day in the house tripping over her toe (very strangely) and fractured her right arm. 3. My lifeline-the mobile suddenly went dead and I had to urgently spend to buy a new hand set. The telephone landline also went dead. My query is: Is it advisable for my wife to read Devi Kavacham? Also the Gomedika as suggestd by the astrologer will only make her malefic Rahu strong-would it be advisable? Prior to our marriage she did wear that and it did not yeild any untoward result.(I have put forward these queries to the astrologer but have not received any response so far). Her details are as follows: DOB:9-5-71, POB:Gulbarga Karnataka;TOB:6:45 PM. Could the respected members please guide on the appropriate steps? Look forward to your valuable advise. Sincerely, Hanmant PS: I have started reciting the Devi Kavacham from Durga Asthami last motnh and have experienced good benefits from the divine mother till my wife started reading). Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krushna || Namaskaar Hanmant, I am assuming that your wife's date of birth is 9th May (and not 5th September) given that you are in India. In my opinion, your wife should not wear Gomed. You see, Rahu is friendly with lagnesha Sukra, and it is a Yogakaraka in your wife's chart. Hence, she herself benefits from wearing Gomed. But Rahu is inimical to Upapada lord Mangal, and neutral to Putra-arudha (A5) lord Guru. If she wears Gomed, the situation with your child might calm down eventually, however, your situation will only worsen. So she should not entertain the thought of wearing it after marriage. Before marriage, it was a different thing since you weren't a part of her life then. I do not think that Durga Kavaca has a role to play in these events. But then my understanding of Durga Kavaca is non-existent. So I can't say this with certainty. However, in general propitiating a Graha through Adhi and Pratiadhi devata is not considered harmful, but, propitiation through Graha mantra and Graha gemstone is a different story. This certainly is my understanding, and I am not an authority in Jyotisha by any means. I hope that Swee ji shall corroborate or refute my understanding of the effects of wearing Gomed in your wife's case. May Sri Vishnu bless us all, Reema. vedic astrology , " hmuttagi " <hmuttagi wrote: > > Shree Ganeshaya Namah, > > Dear Respected Members, > > I recently visited one of well known astrologer at Bangalore (he > wrote the leading article in Astrological Magazine). Guest guest
Ms. Patel Sriganesh, Thank you for your post. Your assumption on date of brith is correct (it is 9th May 1971) and explanation seems very logical on the gemstone remedy. However I have one query: Sanjay ji has referred to Rahu in the fourth house causing sudden shocks and pain to the natives. So will Rahu (yogakaraka as you mentioned) needs to be propitaited or will making Mars stronger (with whom Rahu is associated and is exalted) help? Look forward to your thoughts. best regards Hanmant vedic astrology , " Reema Patel Sriganesh " <reema_sriganesh wrote: > > || Hare Rama Krushna || > > Namaskaar Hanmant, > > I am assuming that your wife's date of birth is 9th May (and not 5th > September) given that you are in India. > > In my opinion, your wife should not wear Gomed.
