BUT he is ONLY 7 degrees away from Sun, even though in diffrent rasi, the rays of sun still affect; Even if lagnadhipati's the sun's rays are benefic, doesn't the eclipsing effect make exalted sani helpless, and unable to penetrate through the sun's rays and exude his inherent strength? Some opine that Sani is an exception to the rule of combustion, and even in the Amsayu method of longevity, there is no Astangata Harana applied.
