In the chart above sani is exalted, in yogakarakas star, 5 bindus in

own ashtavarga, 30 bindus in Tula, 7th lord in conjunction with

lagnadhipati Sun, & 122 degrees trinal aspect of Guru, in 3 frm lagna

and 11 from moon. BUT he is ONLY 7 degrees away from Sun, even though

in diffrent rasi, the rays of sun still affect; Even if

lagnadhipati's the sun's rays are benefic, doesn't the eclipsing

effect make exalted sani helpless, and unable to penetrate through

the sun's rays and exude his inherent strength? Some opine that Sani

is an exception to the rule of combustion, and even in the Amsayu

method of longevity, there is no Astangata Harana applied. What is

Sani's strength in this chart, and what would the features of his

dasa be?
