Sri.Sridharji,

Thanks for your kind explanations given for the word " Gochara " .Yes,I agree

that planets' transitory relationship on any given point of time with that of

ones 'natal' Chandra is said to be 'Gochara';but I am very much keen know that

" When does a graha is considered to be out of ones Gochara? "

GOCHAR means Transit. All planets are moving in the sky, and their position

with respect to one's NATAL Chart, is called as Gochara. The effects depends on

the " present position of planet " in your chart. Usually the Sign occupied

transitted by the planet is known as the gochar postion. So a planet in GOCHARA

will be in that sign for the duration of time, it takes to travel thru that

sign. Saturn for example takes 2.5 years to traverse one sign. So the Gochara

sign of Saturn will chanhe every 2.5 years. For Jupiter it is 1 year, for SUN it

is one month and so on. So if you know the dates when the change in signs occur,

you can answer the question.

Namaste,

Some time ago a way side Astrologer on the pedestrian platform of HIGH COURT OF

MADRAS posed me the question viz., " When does a graha is considered to be out of

ones Gochara? "

I had to return with pale face with out any answers.I thought of getting a

reply from this elite group of Astrologers as often appreciated by many. Even

after repeated postings, none could answer.Hence I am forced to assume either

the elite had skipped to reply for the reasons of less importance or mere 'paper

tigers'.
