[rafal] This is the reply, as this methodology should be applied to Veda and Vedanga. I hope You accept Jyotish as Vedanga per Hari Hara teaching in Prasna Marga. Agni Purana says that Jyotish forms aparavidya group. Vidya which comes from breath of Narayana should be accepted as words of Narayana. Jyotish is part of the same knowledge which should be applied in the same way like other branches. Some Jyotishas are giving Jyotish remedies based on Charaka Samhita.
