Namaste Gurujans et al,

A very interesting thing happened today to me, and I kept thinking about it

before deciding to post it on lists.

This morning around just before the clock hits 9.30am, as I was about to

leave my apartment for work, on the eastern tip of my apartment terrace/balcony

( I live on the 26th top floor of an apartment building with my flat being in

the north-eastern block of the building compound, and the balcony being in

the eastern direction) , I saw what appeared to be a HAWK looking directly at

me eye to eye. He was just sitting there doing nothing but looking inside at

me. At that point after initial eye contact, I just picked up my coat and

walked away.

To people in India or elsewhere this might be a common occurrence, but to

someone living in the new york city, its a rarity to see a bird in your

apartment let alone a hawk. It was my first in the 11 years I have been here. He

was

light creme from the top to the neck and brown thereafter in the body.

I wonder what it might signify, if anything. I understand that Hawks are

generally associated with kurara planets, and could indicate or foretell a

negative event to come.

anyway's, would appreciate if someone would share their understanding.

Namaste

Gaurav
