Surya Upasana for a fixed sign and Bhadaka Planet

Two Questions!

 

1. Can anyone give wisidom if sura upasana is apropriate for a fixed sign

lagna.

2. Is Jupiter a Badhaka planet for Scorpio lagna even if the jupiter is

exalted in the 9th house in cancer and Mars (the lagna lord) occupies the second

house.

sun is the lord of all planets and worship of sun or surya upasana is

very good for all humans irrespective of which lagna they are born

in. sun is the natural atmakaraka or the soul of all humans and

worship of sun gets all good things in life which is why gayatri

mantra in praise of lord sun is chanted by all. lord rama reciting

aditya hridayam in seeking the power and blessings of lord sun to

kill ravana is known to all. since sun is the father of saturn and

yama, hindu mythology also suggests worship of sun as the best remedy

to counter the negative results and worries from saturn and yama.

hence worshipping sun will only get good results for any native.

 

since i do not follow badhaka concept, i dont find any wrong with an

auspicious jupiter in cancer in 9th house being the lord of 5th house

for a scorpio ascendant.

Scorpio is a fixed sign so Bhadaka will the the 9th bhava from Lagna which is Cancer, thus Moon is Bhadaka planet.
