Can Makar lagna jatak wear Pearl and Emerald?

Moon rules 7th house for a Makar Lagna native. If it is placed well

(9th house in Kanya rasi) can he/she wear Pearl in Moon dasha/antar

 

Is Emerald a safe gem for Makar Lagna native. Mercury has trinal

lordship (9th house) and placed well but for a Makar Lagna Mercury

also rules the 6th house of diseases/enemies.

 

Also if Mercury is strengthened, can it indirectly strengthened Moon

also (Moon in sign Virgo)?
