Jaimini Course in Europe

Dear Members, Namaskar.

 

Here is a reminder of the upcoming Jaimini-sutra course. Read below for

more clarifications on the course.

 

Anders Kofoed, Branka Larsen and myself are now offering to teach the

Maharishi Jaimini Krta Upadesa Sutras. It is a four year course, with a

year for each chapter of Maharishi Jaimini's work. The Upadesa Sutras

themselves will be taught as well as allied subjects on spirituality,

jyotish, etc. to give the students a complete understanding of the

Upadesa Sutras.

This incorporates the use of other Jyotish works such as Brhat Parasara

Hora Shastra, Jataka Parijata, Brhat Jataka, etc. and also the Veda and

Upanishads for the benefit of the student.

 

For this purpose we invite those students, scholars , astrologers and

all who wish to learn the principles of Jyotish through the work of

Maharishi Jaimini.

 

Those who are in doubt about their ability to participate in the course

should email us so we can make an accurate estimate of their skill. We

recommend a firm grounding in the basics before participating in this

course. If you have a good sense of the works of Pt. Sanjay Rath,

Narasimha Rao and myself (Visti Larsen), you are quite eligable to join.

 

The teaching will entail online tuition for the first and following

years of the course, as well as an in person workshop once a year at a

preselected location in Europe, the first of which will be conducted in

June/July 2009, following one year of tuition starting from mid-april

2008. The tuition fee for the first year will be Euro 500, which you can

seek a concession of.

 

The teachings include a detailed understanding of the work of Maharishi

Jaimini, where a year is spent on each chapter bringing the course to

its conclusion after four years of teaching. The spiritual dimensions of

Jyotish will also be an integral part of the course.

 

The course is taught by Jaimini Scholars Anders Kofoed, Branka Larsen

and Visti Larsen.

 

We are now open to submissions from those who wish to join the Maharishi

Jaimini course. The last date of submission is April 1st 2008.
