that person.

Dear Mr. Imran,

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, not much can be said about the chart of Mr. Gillani without the exact time, especially as the person is unknown to most persons outside of Pakistan. It is sometimes possible to make inferences about the ascendant of famous persons based on the known life events, etc.

As for Pervez Musharraf, we know that he is now in the Mars-Sun period and Sun is 10th lord in the most effective point of his 9th house. As was predicted in November 2007, his position has strengthened in the Sun period, after the extreme turbulence he encountered in 2007 when the sub-period of an utterly powerless Venus was operating in his chart. During the present nodal transit, which is conjunct his natal 11th lord Mercury in the 10th house, his income or public aspirations could be severely strained or disturbed.

On May 21, 2008 the Sun sub-period ends and the Moon sub-period begins. The Moon as 9th lord is placed in the 9th house and receives an aspect from the 7th lord Saturn in the 7th house. While the Moon is weakened by being so close to his Sun, but then again the Sun is boosting the indications of the Moon by aspecting the 9th house. The Sun and Moon gain extra strength by being placed in a Sun-like house. This should therefore be a lucky period for him.

From late June 2008, however, the nodes will pass over his Sun and become stationary within 1°. This placement will again put great strain on his position. At that time, transit 4th lord Saturn will be passing over his natal Rahu and natal 6th lord Mars in the 10th house, with manipulations by inimical people likely to disturb his peace of mind.

Around July 26-28, 2008, 12th lord Venus will also pass over the natal Sun and stationary Ketu. This could be a difficult time for him when he would be adviced to take good care. It should be helpful to him to have transit 2nd lord Jupiter in the 2nd house exactly opposite his natal Jupiter in the 8th house and aspecting his transit 6th lord Mars in the 10th house. However, as Jupiter is badly placed natally in the 8th house it is a rather weak benefic for him.

You are right Thor, at this stage we could not infer the lagna for

Mr. Gilani, unless have some of his significant past events and

reliable profile. (One correction in my earlier message is that Mr.

Gilani was born in Karachi, not in Multan; however his parents

belongs to Multan)

Moreover, your unequivocal analysis on President Musharraf appeared

appealing to me. As per SA, Musharraf's forthcoming Mars-Moon sub

period would be favourable, however mental peace and public

aspirations may suffer on account of difficult transit of Saturn and

nodes.

By the way, don't you think that May 2008 may prove dangerous to his

office or at least trying for his position. Since transit Rahu is

changing its sign from Aquarius to Capricorn (opposite to

Venus/Sun/Moon in natal 9th). Simultaneously, during very month of

May, transit Jupiter is going to direct while Saturn would turn

retrograde in Leo.

M. Imran

period and Sun is 10th lord in the most effective point of his 9th

strengthened in the Sun period, after the extreme turbulence he

encountered in 2007 when the sub-period of an utterly powerless Venus

was operating in his chart. During the present nodal transit, which

is conjunct his natal 11th lord Mercury in the 10th house, his income

or public aspirations could be severely strained or disturbed.

begins. The Moon as 9th lord is placed in the 9th house and receives

is weakened by being so close to his Sun, but then again the Sun is

boosting the indications of the Moon by aspecting the 9th house. The

Sun and Moon gain extra strength by being placed in a Sun-like house.

This should therefore be a lucky period for him.

peace of mind.

him to have transit 2nd lord Jupiter in the 2nd house exactly

opposite his natal Jupiter in the 8th house and aspecting his transit

6th lord Mars in the 10th house. However, as Jupiter is badly placed

natally in the 8th house it is a rather weak benefic for him.

Hello Muhammad,

I note three points on SA interpretation for clarification,

a) the nodal aspects are more difficult when stationary. The nodes go stationary in conjunction with his natal Sun. That would be the more difficult aspect.

b) retrograde motion by itself has no relevance, only the influence of a stationary or very slow moving placement (such as when it goes from direct to retrograde movement, or reverse) on a given natal point.

c) the influence can become dangerous or trying when involving a functional malefic planet in the chart. Saturn and Jupiter are functional benefics in a Scorpio rising chart.

The next stationary movement of 2nd lord Jupiter takes place around 27° Sagittarius from around now to early June. By itself, it will be good for Pervez Musharraf as it takes place on the most effective point of his 2nd house, aspecting also his 6th, 8th and 10th houses. The next stationary movement of 4th lord Saturn will be around 27° Leo and 10th house during November 2008 to February 2009. It would be good for him as well, aspecting his 12th, 4th and 7th houses.

Best wishes,

Thor
