Guest guest Posted July 30, 2006 Report Share Posted July 30, 2006 Workers die in Bahrain blaze Sunday 30 July 2006, 10:57 Makka Time, 7:57 GMT At least 16 foreign workers have died and another seven people have been injured after a fire broke out in a building in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, the country's official news agency has said. Most of the workers were Indian and from the state of Tamil Nadu. It is thought they died from smoke inhalation, local media reported on Sunday. At least seven people were taken to hospital suffering from severe burns sustained in the fire, medical sources said.
