Five people have been killed when a passenger train derailed in

northern Spain, officials said.

At least 20 people were injured after six carriages of the

inter-city train derailed near the town of Villada in the Palencia province,

The crash happened at 1600 (1400

GMT). There was no immediate official

comment on the cause of the crash.

The train was travelling from the city of Vigo in Spain's north-west to
