Earthquake strikes in Montenegro

Hello list, An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale struck in Montenegro at 17:32 on 26.8.2006. The epicenter was 40 km south of Podgorica under the mountain Rumija. Alarm erupted among residents, many who fled into the street. There were no reports of damage or accidents. The event is seen clearly in the chart for the declaration of independence in Montenegro. - Ve/Mo period is running. - Transit L12 Venus is exactly conjunct L4 Saturn on MEP of H9. - Transit L9 Moon is conjunct natal nodal axis in H11. - Transit L6 Mars and transit Ketu also conjunct on cusp of H10 and H11. Considering

that the magnitude of the earthquake is not very high, let us look to both

charts:

 

Dasha: Ju/Me/Ju/Ve/Ju

 

In D1,

Jupiter is badly placed, and disposed by Venus. In D6, Jupiter is FMP and afflicted by Rahu and Ketu. In

D9, Jupiter is placed in H4, and afflicted by Ketu/Rahu axis. Jupiter, L12 in

D6, is over its natal position and approaching the exact conjunction with MEP12,

creating a mild affliction on MEP4, MEP6 and MEP8, regarding the significations

of H6 (earthquakes).  

 

In D1,

Mercury (the bhukti lord and significator of H6) is combust and afflicted by

Ketu. In D6, Mercury is badly placed. In D9, Mercury is placed in the MT sign of H6 of D1. In

transit, Mercury is combust and in infancy.

 

In D1,

Venus is the MMP and dispositor of natal/transit Jupiter, which is exactly over MEP12. Transit

Mars exactly afflicts natal Venus. In D6, Venus is afflicted by Jupiter, Rahu

and Ketu. In D9, Venus is afflicted by Ketu and Rahu.

 

In D1,

natal Saturn, L4, is weak. In transit, Saturn is exactly afflicted by transit

Venus, L12. Natal Moon, L9 and significator of H4, is afflicted by transit Mars,

and transit Moon is afflicted by natal Ketu/Rahu axis.

 

 

 

 

 

Dasha: Ve/Mo/Ve (as the declaration chart is not rectified, let us look only to these 3

levels of dasha)

 

In D1, Venus,

L12, is badly placed in H6, and disposed by weak/afflicted Mars. In D6, Venus is well placed an

unafflicted. In D9, Venus is afflicted by Ketu. In transit, Venus exactly

afflicts MEP9 and MEP3

 

In D1, the

Moon (the bhukti lord) is strong. In transit, the Moon is afflicted by

natal Ketu/Rahu axis, and the MT sign of the Moon is exactly afflicted by the MMP.

 

In D1,

natal Saturn, L4, is strong. In transit, Saturn is exactly afflicted by

transit Venus, L12.

 

 

 

 

It would

be good to have more events to increase our level of confidence about the valid

chart, but it seems that this event is also clearly seen in the first chart.

2006 - PODGORICA, Montenegro-About 400 convicts in two prisons launched a

hunger strike Saturday, saying officials failed to keep a promise of sentence

reductions in exchange for backing independence in a May referendum.
