Guest guest
Thursday, 31 August 2006, 07:10 GMT 08:10 UK S Thailand hit by wave of bombs Incidents occur almost daily in Thailand's restive south A series of small bombs have exploded almost simultaneously at commercial banks in southern Thailand. At least 15 banks were attacked in quick succession on Thursday morning, many of which were in Yala province. So far one death has been reported, and police say many other people have been injured in the blasts. The attack is the latest in a string of violent incidents in the Thai south, where more than 1,300 people have been killed since January 2004. Officials blame Muslim insurgents for much of the unrest, although criminal gangs are also thought to be behind some of the attacks. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/5300776.stm Dasha: Ju/Mo/Ve/Ve/Me  satva Jorge Angelino Rua da Sociedade Filarmónica Perpétua Azeitonense, 29 2925-598 Azeitão Portugal jorge.angelino tel: mobile: 210813674 963916784 Add me to your address book...
