3 investigation has uncovered serious concerns about fire safety at dozens of

schools throughout the region.

The office of the

state fire marshal called KCRA 3's investigation alarming and said the long list of

violations are totally unacceptable.

More than 50,000 students attend public schools in the

city of Sacramento. There are more than 70 schools with crowded classrooms and

packed hallways.
