Guest guest
Dear and list members, Thank you again, Professor Choudhrhy, for the analysis of the impact of Saturn moving out of Cancer into Leo, Jupiter moving from Libra to Scorpio, Rahu leaving Pisces and entering Aquarius and Ketu going from Virgo to Leo. All these slow moving planets are changing signs at around November of this year - although Saturn will briefly return to Cancer in first half of 2007. Earlier you had suggested that this contemporaneous change of signs of all the slow moving planets could imply a change in trends in the world. Clearly, the change of trend is going to be good for some and less good for others. One the one hand, the change of sign is for the worse for countries and individuals with these planets entering dusthana houses (8, 12 and 6 - in order of maleficience), especially if the planet involved is also a functional malefic. On the other hand, the change of sign is for an improvement where these planets are leaving a dusthana house. Let´s take a closer look at the change of signs involving each planet. Saturn is a functional malefic: Cancer (8), Pisces (12) and Virgo (6) Saturn entering Leo as dusthana: Capricorn (8), Virgo (12) and Pisces (6) Saturn leaving Cancer as dusthana: Sagittarius, Leo and Aquarius Jupiter is a functional malefic: Taurus (8), Capricorn (12) and Cancer (6) Jupiter entering Scorpio as dusthana: Aries (8), Sagittarius (12) and Gemini (6) Jupiter leaving Libra as dusthana: Pisces, Scorpio and Taurus Rahu is functional malefic for all signs Rahu entering Aquarius as dusthana: Cancer (8), Pisces (12) and Virgo Rahu leaving Pisces as dusthana: Leo, Aries and Libra Ketu is functional malefic for all signs Ketu entering Leo as dusthana: Capricorn (8), Virgo (12) and Pisces (6) Ketu leaving Virgo as dusthana: Aquarius, Libra and Aries It becomes clear that the greater difficulty is going to be experienced by Virgo and Pisces on account of the transit of FMs Saturn and the nodes in their dusthanas. The difficulty will be partly shared by Cancer and Capricorn natives during the transits of the nodes in dusthanas, but also for Capricorn while L2 Saturn enters 8th house. The transit of Jupiter in Scorpio brings some difficulty to Aries, Sagittarius and Gemini. At the same time, Leo and Aquarius will get relief from a difficult nodal transit, but also Aries and Libra. Sagittarius, Leo and Aquarius also benefit from Saturn leaving Cancer. Meanwhile Pisces, Scorpio and Taurus benefit from Jupiter exiting Libra. In addition to this we must consider what the impact is for the general significations of the planets moving from one sign to the next. How does Saturn function differently in Leo from that of Cancer? Clearly, both are royal signs with fast moving MT lords. So, we can expect a benefit to Saturns indications, the elderly, civil servants, labourers and mining industries, from the royal placement. However, the benefit should be greater for Saturn´s sojourn of Leo. After all in SA Leo is H7 of Aquarius, while Cancer is H8. For Jupiter to move out of Libra to Scorpio is likely to be less favourable to its indications. After all, Scorpio is H12 to MT sign of Sagittarius. For Rahu the move into Leo should see some improvement for its indications, including diplomats and salesmen, while the entry of Ketu in Aquarius could bring more discpiline and vision to spiritual organisations and people. As the above indicates, it is difficult to speculate on what the trends will exactly be, as they are complex. However, hopefully this brief overview adds to what has already mentioned. Guest guest
Hello dear Cosmologer, As a whole the situation is going to be stressful for the countries/natives rising with Cancer, Virgo, Pisces, Taurus, Capricorn and Taurus. Difficult are seen for those rising with Aries, Sagittarius and Gemini. Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius are going to be better. Jupiter is going to be quite good for those born in Scorpio. This transit will test the ascendant of US, as well. If it is Scorpio, the things are going to be good. If it is Cancer then the things are going to be quite challenging for US and the world as US influences most of the economies of the world. Guest guest
Dear , Your additional points are very helpful to form an overview of the main dynamics and what to expect. Specifically, the point about the transits serving as a test of the two main ascendants proposed for the USA is interesting indeed. Thanks again! Guest guest
Dear C,Thanks for your post. Are 6th/8th/12th positions from MT-houses considered in SA, or is this a classical VA concept? The other thing to consider with Jupiter is that it's transiting a friendly and fruitful sign. Scorpio is less affluent than Libra, so this aspect decreases to some extent.Saturn transits a barren and inimical sign, but gets a good boost in its extent of affluence in Leo. Guest guest
Dear Arun, Thanks for the additional points about what to expect as the slower moving planets move into a new sign. In this regard, let us consider that the impact of the change of sign is mostly related to the planets functional status and house placement as per ascending sign of any mundane entity. It´s general impact would be a lot less important (maybe 20% of the overall effect). With that in view, my toughts on the general impact of the planets in the new signs is merely a suggestion. Perhaps could clarify the point further. In other words, would it matter for the transit of Saturn whether it be in H6 (Cancer) or H7 (Leo) relative to its own MT sign (Aquarius)? Guest guest
Dear , Thank you for the clarification, which higlights the FUNCTIONAL nature of the house/sign placement. I also take your reply to imply that there is no basis to evaluate in a GENERAL sense the result of planets in particular signs with reference to their own MT sign. Guest guest
Dear C,In a general sense, I don't think it matters. With reference to a particular lagna, it would be highly important.Best Wishes,Aruncosmologer <cosmologer wrote: Dear Arun, Thanks for the additional points about what to expect as the slower moving planets move into a new sign. Guest guest
Dear C,Right, I think Professor is referring to Aquarius lagna, not to the sign Aquarius in general...Best Wishes,Aruncosmologer <cosmologer wrote: Dear , Thank you for the clarification, which higlights the FUNCTIONAL nature of the house/sign placement. Guest guest
Dear , A few months ago you predicted the change of signs by the four slow moving planets would herald a change in trends in the world. In the US congressional election the Democrats have won control of the House of Representatives. They are also close to winning control of the Senate. Already changes are being made in the US government, with e.g. Donald Rumsfeld stepping down as Secretary of Defense. That change is a direct result of the electoral drubbing of the Presidents party, the Republicans. The departure of Rumsfeld is connected to the voters having rejected in particular the progress with the War in Iraq. This is a major sea change in US politics, which has repercussions for the world. Moreover, as dear Sateesh has pointed out, this sea change is occuring just after the last of the four planets change signs. Congratulations on the correct prediction! It will be interesting to see what other trend changes are in store.
