Burst

Hundreds

of people in northern Nigeria have been made homeless after a dam burst in Zamfara state,

the state's governor has said.

Governor Ahmed Sani Yarima told the BBC torrential rain

had brought the water level behind the dam to critical level, forcing it to

burst.

Mr Yarima said about 1,000 families had

lost their homes but said that contrary to media reports no-one was killed.

Earlier reports in local media said at least 40 people

had died.

The governor described how a wall of water swept through

villages below the dam, close to the state capital Gusau.

" The body of water was just like the pictures of

tsunami that we've seen, " he said. " It had

enough force and speed to sweep people

off their feet and into the river. "

Despite the force of the

water, " all those missing were later found safe and alive, " Mr Yarima

told Reuters news agency.

People who have lost their homes are being sheltered in a

local secondary school.

The reservoir behind the dam provided the main supply of

drinking water to Gusau.

Mr Yerima said emergency repairs to the dam would take about

two weeks but water supplies to Gusau should not be affected.

He has called on the Nigerian federal government to

were placed in Libra. The overall strength of Mercury is dependent of the

transit strength of Venus. Transit Venus is combust, debilitated and within 5

degrees 17 minutes of stationary Rahu/Ketu axis, being closely afflicted by the

MMP, Ketu.

Very clear. I didn't know H12 was floods...

P..S. One tell tale is the nodes do afflict just outside the 5 degree

range in the natal..on the tenth, second, fourth, sixth, eighth and

twelfth..otherwise how could you have predicted this? The nodes are also

stationary, so maybe the five degree rule then gets stretched to this six..

With a Gemini ascendant the

FMPs are Rahu and Ketu. We have to look carefully to the divisional charts.

 

Transit Moon, MMP in D9,

is exactly over natal Saturn, L9 in D1 and L6in D4. Rahu is placed in H6 in D4,

disp osed by Saturn.

 

In D8

 

 

 

Mercury is the MMP and is

placed in the most malefic house in association with Rahu and Ketu. Ruling the

H12 (floods), it brings death (D8) through floods.

then went with it.

 

Why isn't there more showing on the nata rasil planets is my quandary.

(death) in D4 (assets) and L12 (floods) in D6 (accidents), closely asp ects

natal Saturn and transit Moon.

 

All land and buildings on

it and the crops which grow and the mineral wealth are under the rule of

Saturn. Afflicted Saturn would cause destruction of buildings, crops, mineral

I feel it has to show more in the rasi. So T- Ketu is afflicting T-Venus,

natural signifier for assets and comforts. They are transit conjunct in

the fourth of the home and the land.
