Guest guest
Just an informal term I use when planets are conjunct in tight conjunction for a fairly long period of time - Mars and Sun are within a degree of each other for a fair while. Ditto for Mercury and Jupiter, due to Mercury's impending station. ======== - del iver SAMVA Saturday, October 21, 2006 4:08 AM siamese conjunction ? never heard of this term. whats a siamese conjunction ?is it a Vedic term ? whats the difference between a conjunction and a siamese conjunction ? any ohter relevant info will be most appreciated. thanx in advance Iver Sateesh Batas <makaras (AT) ukonline (DOT) co.uk> wrote: With the Sun-Mars siamese conjunction at it's peak during this Diwali -.be careful with fireworks. ======== All-new Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. Guest guest
personally i think we should stick to the archaic terms of the sages of jyotish please lets not clutter this great art & science of useless and more terms/jargons just because it suits our fancy. I don't mind the Sanskrit terminologies. If i have to i'll try and learn. Hopefully on this most auspicious occassion i don't have to defend this great discipline from any form of intrusion however well intentioned. LOLHappy Diwali ciao IverSateesh Batas <makaras wrote: Just an informal term I use when planets are conjunct in tight conjunction for a fairly long period of time - Mars and Sun are within a degree of each other for a fair while.
