Birds of a feather flock together: on the common imprint of a shared ascendant or chart feature

Hello list, Jorge Angelino has done a signficant amount of work to rectify the charts of countries using SA but also non-SA techniques. He has offered 247 mundane charts for consideration in the FILES sub-section of the SAMVA Web page. He has rectified charts for all the known states in the world as well as the 51 US states. There is now scope to apply predictions to these charts to test their merit through prediction. Jorge is doing this work, especially with the 16° Scorpio rising chart for the USA as well as posting interesting events with the

charts of the many rectified countries. The USA chart is of most interest as it is the leading country in the world, much like the UK was over one hundred years ago. What is of interest that so many countries in the orbit of the Anglo – Saxon culture have Virgo rising charts. The Anglo-Saxon countries typically are English speaking, are market based, favour openness

of commerce, are democratic societies based on the rule of law and the citizens tend to be hard working with high productivity and income levels. The history of this culture is clear. While the USA is the chief Anglo-Saxon country in the world since World War II, the UK is its cradle. Canada, Australia and New Zealand are clearly off-shoots of the culture. Singapore is also such a country, with English being the official language. Singapore is known for its emphasis on hard work and the strict rule of law. Iceland, since its independence over sixty years ago, has also evolved into such a country. Most of f the population now is able to speak English as a second language. Ireland is another close fit, with an English speaking populace. However, this country has been at odds with the UK for many centuries. It may thus may be a special case.

Japan and Israel are also within the A-S orbit since WWII. Even India, up until WWII was falling closer into this camp, but has since moved away from it, with its own cultural and economic emphasis. It is well established by now that the United Kingdom, Australia and Iceland have Virgo rising countries. Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Israel and Singapore have been rectified by Jorge to also have Virgo rising charts. The Virgo ascendant as we all know has emphasis on hard work, is analytical, favours routine and stability. It is also subject to many viscissitudes of life, engendering a feeling of insecurity. However, countries with this sign rising would value truthfulness as Jupiter then rules H4. Of other countries in the A-S orbit, we could mention Japan and New Zealand. However, these have been identified to have Taurus rising, Meanwhile, Ireland is suggested as a Leo ascendant. Norway is found by Jorge to have Scorpio rising but others still favour the Leo ascendant. So, while these assignments are not all 100% certain, they offer an exceptionally good start to this work of finding the authentic charts for so

many countries in the world. The question I raise with this post is if there is a cultural imprint, arising from the sign ascending on the charts of countries, that helps to explain common social and development emphasis in the world? Another element creating a common emphasis could be related to placements in the chart that produce a similar common thrust.
