USA - assasination of President Garfield in 1881

Dear list members, In view of the natal affliction in the 21° Cancer rising chart for the USA based on 2 February 1781, I decided to examine another tragic event surrounding the Presidency, the time when President James A. Garfield was killed on July 2, 1881, in a Washington railroad station. An embittered attorney who had sought a consular post shot the President. Ve/Mo period was running. Transit Rahu was conjunct natal L8 Saturn at 25° 45' with transit Ketu in H11 aspecting natal L2 Sun at 23° 45' in H7. Natal Ketu at 17° 47' Libra was aspecting transit L2 Sun at 18° 49' Gemini H12. Transit L8 Saturn at 17° 55' in Aries H10 was conjunct natal Rahu at 17° 47' and in aspect to transit L2 Sun in H12. Transit L6 Jupiter at 26° 12' Aries H10 aspected natal L4 Venus at 23° 51' Sagittarius H6. The chart is attached. It shows that the aspects could not have be any more clear

concerning the transit strain for such a dramatic event, the assasination of the leader of the country. Best wishes, C
