Transit afflictions of natal Sun in SAMVA USA chart

Dear list members, I share with you three graphs showing two different episodes of the transit affliction of L8 to natal L2 Sun in the SAMVA USA chart. In the first case the transit affliction in 1963 is shown. This was during the Saturn major period and Sun sub period in the chart. At the time, transit L8 Saturn became EXCATLY conjunct the natal Sun on 22 November, the shots rang out from the Dallast Book Depository and Kennedy was hit. He was rushed to hospital but died shortly afterwards. The nation was grief stricken for some time afterwards. In the second graph we show the transit opposition of Saturn to natal Sun in 2007. We can see that the aspect does not become exact, but close. Moreover, Venus major period and Jupiter sub-period is running. Hence, the emphasis on Saturn and Sun is not there as it was in 1963. Hopefully, no harm will come to the President at this

time. In the third graph we can see how other transit aspects are making the situation more difficult. Transit L6 Jupiter, the sub-period lord, is in a close stationary aspect to transit Saturn at the same time that it becomes close in its aspect to the L2 Sun. This is bound to make the situation more dicey and difficult. Secondly, transit Rahu will be stationary conjunct H10 MEP (and transit Ketu conjunct H4 MEP) while aspecting H2 and H6 (and Ketu is aspecting H8 and H12). Hence, these houses will be quite strained at the same time. The two conclusions I draw from this is as follows. First,the karma involving the Office of the President of the USA is not as difficult in 2007 as it was in 1963, even if very difficult. Second, the situation in the Spring of 2007 will likely be all-round more difficult for the society than at the earlier time. Finally, for

comparison with some other similar episodes. A conjunction aspect of Saturn to natal Sun occurred in May to July 1992 during the Ke/Ra period. The US Presidential primaries were in full swing and there was much tension surrounding the economic situation. As it turns out, the sitting President was turned out of Office. However, the aspect was not exact during the stationary period and had gained speed when it crossed the exact point. An opposition aspect also occurred in late 1976, but the the stationary placement did not reach the exact point and the affliction seperated before becoming exact. However, the same thing occurred, the sitting President was not returned to Office in the elections. Also, the period at that time was easier as it involed functional benefics (Me/Ve in 1976).
