Guest guest
Dear Cosmologer and list, As you are aware, the memories and the trauma caused by the tidal wave that washed out parts of coastal Chennai and other parts of the State of TamilNadu on 26/12/2004 will haunt the minds of the people for a long time to come.It is a tough task to forget the damage left behind by the wave that was triggered by an earthquake in far off Indonesia. The Richter scale recorded the quake to be in the magnitude of 9.0. Kindly note that N Venkatanath, research scholar, and N Rajeshwara Rao, research supervisor, Department of Applied Geology, University of Madras had predicted that the disaster will occur on 26 December 2004 at 00:30 (GMT) with 3.54 N latitude and 97.17E longitude, which is located near the coast of Banyak Island, Sumatra, Indonesia, with a magnitude at around 6 to 7. The actual calamity occurred on 26 December 2004 at 00:58 (GMT), with 3.298 N latitude and 95.779 E longitude, located off the west coast of northern Sumatra'. Transit Chart is available for 26/12/04 for 00:58 hours with the latitude and longitude . Do you have the NATAL CHART so that we can superimpose the transit on the Natal . If you have, can you explain to the group what struck the Tsunami. It will be good learning . Thanks Sadasivan ______________________________\ ____ 8:00? 8:25? 8:40? Guest guest
Dear Sadisvan, If our work on SAMVA in the past years has shown one thing it is this: it requires a LOT of effort to identify an authentic mundane chart for even one country. What I can suggest to you is to look at the discussion on this list with reference to the mundane charts of affected countries, such as Thailand, to see which one best fits this event. You can then begin to make predictions against these charts to see if they meet the scientific requirements of predictive reliability. A good place to source prospective charts is a file (RECTIFIED CHARTS OF COUNTRIES.doc) that Jorge Angelino has brought together in the Files section of the SAMVA web page SAMVA This file reflects his monumental effort to rectify mundane chart for each and every country on the face of this planet. While we may have diffierences about a few of these charts, in general, the results are very promising. This file is an excellent place to start this work. Jorge has undoubtedly also studied this event with respect to some of the charts and may be able to share his views on this particular issue. I hope this helps. Best wishes, C SAMVA , SADASIVAN GOPALAKRISHNAN <sadasivan_g wrote: > > Dear Cosmologer and list, > > As you are aware, the memories and the trauma caused > by the tidal wave that washed out parts of coastal > Chennai and other parts of the State of TamilNadu on > 26/12/2004 will haunt the minds of the people for a > long time to come.It is a tough task to forget the > damage left behind by the wave that was triggered by > an earthquake in far off Indonesia. Guest guest
Dear Cosmologer, The Natal Chart of Indonesia is Libra with Rahu/Ketu and Mercury as FMs. When the earthquake occured ,Indonesia was running Moon dasa Jup Bhukti . Jup is in 12th house . No planet is afflicted by FMs. Sun, Mars and Saturn and Mercury are weak . Transit - Rahu Ketu in MEP in 1-7 axis . Natal kETU afflicting Transit Sun . The transit position of sublord Jupiter is weak as it is in the 12th house. Transit Mercury afflicting Transit Venus(Lagna lord) and Ntal Mars . Any major combination seen for an earthquake of such a magnitude ? . Your valuable comments please. Guest guest
Dear Sadasivan, I would think affliction of H4 would be important. According to SA, when a non MT-sign is on a cusp, the issues related thereto become less important. For Libra, 4th house issues such as earthquakes would therefore not be important for the country, unless the MEP of the house is afflicted. That said, the Tsunami may not have been preceeded by the earthquake being felt in the country, but only that the Tsunami reached the shores. In this case studying the role of 12th house and its lord, as well as afflictions to the MEPs of H6 and H8, could help to explain the event - if we assume the chart is authentic. Perhaps other members have time to give feed-back to your research. Unfortunately, the time I have for this has temporarily been usurped by other demands. Best regards, C SAMVA , SADASIVAN GOPALAKRISHNAN <sadasivan_g wrote: > > Dear Cosmologer, > > The Natal Chart of Indonesia is Libra with > Rahu/Ketu and Mercury as FMs. When the > earthquake occured ,Indonesia was running Moon > dasa Jup Bhukti . But it is mentioned as Virgo Ascdt (4 :25)in the file. Virgo Asdt will jusitfy the impact of many FMs on the 4th house. Guest guest
Dear Sally and John TWB, Thanks for the input . Natal Chart of Indonesia is Virgo with FMs as Saturn, Mars and Sun besides Rahu/Ketu . 4th lord Jup is in MEP in lagna . Sun, Mercury , Moon, Venus (afflicted by Saturn) are weak . MMF Mars is unafflicting. Positive side of 8th house will come into effect. Sun like Planet is afflicted by Saturn . When the event occured , Moon dasa Rahu Bhukti is running. Debilitated Moon . Rahu is unafflicting . Transit Rahu/Ketu afflicting 2/8 . Transit MMF Mars afflicting Natal Moon . Combo for bad events are there . However, the 4th lord Jupiter's position makes me rethink whether the Country is vulnerable to earthquakes.
