Muhurta and life cycle

Dear List,

The ongoing discussion over the last few weeks on the USA chart is the

inspiration for this post. There is often a mislabelling of events caused by

the incomplete understanding of the general life cycle of all things - the

exact parallel between human and mundane affairs is often not fully

considered. I hope that the following will put things into the proper

perspective as it relates to muhurta selection and hopefully the reader will

clearly see the parallel between human and mundane affairs.

The general life cycle has five distinct stages:

1) Conception

2) Gestation

3) Birth

4) Duration of living

5) End of life

Only the first and third can be architectured by the astrologer via muhurta.

Additionally, the precedence is given to the third, the birth - this is the

idea we use in human birth and it must also be used in mundane affairs. The

order and importance of precedence must be fully grasped.

A properly selected conception time serves to ensure that developments in

the gestation period is with least complications. This stands for both human

and mundane affairs. Gestation in the mundane sense refers to the

development of ideas, laying of the infrastructure, implementing the legal

framework, choosing a suitable name etc. The birth of the human defines the

moment the child is out of the mother's body in the human sense - the

completion of the child's development in the womb and entrance into the

fourth stage of life. The birth of the mundane defines the moment that

everything is complete - final signatures in the case of new companies,

mergers, creating new countries.

Additionally, we should note that life is present from the very conception;

this is the Vedic thought. This also transfers to mundane affairs; life here

is defined as the work and efforts of the individuals involved in the

project. Because the baby is grown inside of the mother and the inner

workings are not visible externally, and in mundane affairs, the development

takes place externally in easily observable and relateable ways as grown

individuals, it is easy to mislabel stage one as stage three. Thanks for

reading.

Best regards,
