Guest guest
could or other distinguished Jyotishis comment on what other results will come from this long time strength of Saturn? Would Real estate tend to rise as well as another commodity represented by Saturn? If gas and real estate rise in price does that not harm the cause of the common or poor class, a group signified by Saturn? Will the poor or common man see an improvement worldwide during such a period? Guest guest
Hello shukra69, By no means am I a distinguished jyotishi, but I'll answer since it's to my post you responded. In each country you can expect those signified by Saturn to get a boost or opposite per the functional nature of the planets in that country's chart. In the SAMVA USA chart for example, if it's the correct one, you will find tensions to the working man because of the rise in prices. In the Rectified USA chart, you will find an increase in status/income to the working class. Guest guest
Dear Shukra69 and list members, This is an interesting question. I´ll try to add some insight to it. Saturn will return to strength in transit, as per criteria of age (infancy/old age), combustion, debilitation and strength of dispositor, from mid February to mid June 2007. The graph for Saturn in the file " Transit Strength of Planets in 2007 " in the Files section of the SAMVA web page shows this clearly. Of course, as Saturn is transiting the sign of Cancer, its dispositor, the fast moving Moon frequently alternates between strength and weakness. So, the strength of Saturn in transit will fluctuate somewhat based on that criteria (dispositor strenth). Importantly, during this time it will remain free of the affliction of the transit nodal axis (Rahu and/or Ketu). Further, during the months of March and April 2007, Saturn at around 24°-25° Cancer will come under the aspect of transit Jupiter at around 24°-25° Scorpio. The aspect from Jupiter, based on its highly favourable general significations such as expansiveness, wisdom, purification, grace of God, etc., should, other things being equal, have a positive impact on the indications of Saturn, such as things mined out of the ground (oil, coal, etc.), low-tech industries, infrastructure (roads, bridges, tunnels, etc), working conditions or pay of civil servants and workers who work hard ordinarily for low pay, etc. This would especially be the case of countries where Saturn and Jupiter would be functional benefics. In the 21° Cancer rising SAMVA USA chart, where both Saturn and Jupiter are functional malefics, the dynamics would be expected to be quite different. Transit L6 Jupiter will be closely conjunct natal L8 Saturn at 26° 47' Scorpio H5 while exactly aspecting transit L8 Saturn in Cancer H1. Hence, conflict is likely to aggravate the functional (i.e. easy gains, beliefs of the people, obstacles and endings) and general indications of Saturn decisively at that time in the USA. The ability of the USA to best its enemies in conflict is also likely to be temporarily obstructed at this time. Moreover, transit L8 Saturn will be closely aspecting L2 Sun at 23° 45' Capricorn H7, creating obstacles for the country´s wealth, status, political influence and relations with other countries at that time. The time would also be difficult for the President of the USA. A likely reading for these planetary influences in this time period is that the oil price would rise, thus reducing the wealth of the country as a major consumer of imported oil. As Vyas has further pointed out, a higher oil price raises the overall price level, and thus reduces the real wage of working men and women, which temporarily reduces their welfare. In countries where this aspect of Jupiter to Saturn is of a functional benefic nature, an overall beneficial effect would be expected for the country. During this time, the situation is further complicated by transit Rahu being around 21°-22° Aquarius H8, closely aspecting H8, H12, H2 and H4. This will bring difficulty to foreign affairs, wealth, domestic tranquility and easy gains. Transit Ketu will moreover be aspecting L4 Venus at 23° 51' Sagittarius H6 and H2, H6, H8 and H10 adding sudden problems to wealth, status, domestic tranquility, the real estate market, smooth relations with others, easy gains, and foreign trade and the executive branch of government. Currently, L6 Jupiter is at 19° 15' Scorpio H5 and aspecting H9, H11 and H1. This influence, which becomes exact in the chart on 7 February, but then lingers on will also be strongly felt, especially given the natal contact between L6 Jupiter and L1 Moon in H11. This contact has a tendency to arouse strongly held beliefs of the people, stir their mind and emotions and thereby increase the conflict, which disturbs the smooth functioning, also with respect to financial markets and incomes. The political debate in the country, including the primaries would be expected to be far more tense than is usual in the early part of this year. The aspect is more strongly felt given the other afflictions, involving also the fourth and second house significations. Best wishes, Thor SAMVA , " shukra69 " <stephen4359 wrote: > > could or other distinguished Jyotishis comment on > what other results will come from this long time strength of Saturn? > Would Real estate tend to rise as well as another commodity > represented by Saturn?
