SAMVA USA chart: the events of Autumn 2001 revisited

Dear list members, A labeling mistake occurred on one of the graphs showing transit impacts in the SAMVA USA chart sent earlier this month to list members (who receive emails) concerning the traumatic events in the Autumn of 2001, when the USA was running the Ve/Mo period. A correctly labelled graph of the key transits at that time is attached and has also been uploaded in the Files section of the SAMVA web page. Let us begin with a review the analysis of this event which was sent to the list with the mail on December 30, 2006 introducing the chart: 7. The terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001, which shocked the psyche of the people, disrupted life in the country and turned Americans

inward and vengeful in striking out at the perpetrators. Ve/Mo period was running. Tr L6 Jupiter in H12 MEP aspects natal Ketu in H4 MEP, which is more suggestive of problems for fixed assets and communal harmony. L8 Saturn is on H11 MEP also aspecting H1, H5 and H8. Tr L1 Moon was exactly opposite natal L8 Saturn in H5, suggesting disruption. Transit L2 Sun in H2 is under aspect of natal L8 Saturn in H5, also suggesting disruption. Overall, the transits could explain this event. By focusing on the graphical illustration the nature of the event becomes even more clear; The two major transits that are preeminent when the "9/11" attacks took place are: - Transit L6 Jupiter H12 in exact aspect with natal Ketu on H4

MEP - Transit L8 Saturn H11 exactly afflicts H11, H1, H5 and H8 The major transits on 7 October, when US retaliatory invasion of Afghanistan began, were: - Transit L6 Jupiter becomes exact on H12 MEP, afflicting H12, H4, H6 and H8 - Transit L8 Saturn H11 again exactly afflicts H11, H1, H5 and H8 Further, we can observe that the role of Jupiter is clear and important. However, the role of the stationary affliction of Saturn is also very important for the analysis. Please note that Saturn was afflicting the houses (H11 and H5) that contain L1 Moon and L6 Jupiter. It is the mutual natal aspect of L6 and L1 that gives the US its ideological, warlike and avenging nature. This natal aspect was being aroused - the attacks were interpreted as attacks on the very ideals of the USA, including freedom (liberty). The US military then struck out in a

forceful manner. To highlight the ideological and retaliatory issue, we can recall that the US President continued to expand the "War on Terror" by invading Iraq in early 2003. When France objected to the invasion and occupation of Iraq, US politicians were aghast and quickly suggested "French Fries" be renamed "Freedom Fries," reflecting the popular ideological and retaliatory fervor these events had stirred. There were other faster moving transits at work on the fateful morning of "9/11": - transit L2 Sun in H2 was closely aspected by natal L8 Saturn H5 - transit L1 Moon had passed into H12 and the conjunction of transit Rahu - transit L10 Mars was conjunct transit Ketu in H6. The graph of the major transits also highlights the stationary transit of L6 Jupiter on H12 MEP which is consistent with

the post-9/11 turmoil, including also the "Anthrax" mailings to prominent people that killed 11 people, mostly postal workers who handled the mail. In SA, the twelfth house carries with it the energy of Rahu, including poison and hidden activities, and L6 has to do with enemity and health. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_anthrax_attacks Finally, On 17 October 1989 the 7,3 on the Richter scale earthquake struck in Loma Prieta, California and had a major effect in the Bay Area, including San Francisco. The earthquake caused massive destruction of houses and infrastructure and took 57 lives . Also then, the L6 Jupiter was in H12 in mutual aspect with natal Ketu on H4 MEP. The horizontal axis (the x-axis) contains the time (day, month and year). The time trend is read from left to right. The vertical axis (y-axis) shows a calculated value, here the closeness of the aspect(s) under discussion. The line(s) in the graph trace out the combinations of x- and y- values. In other words, they show at what time the aspects were becoming exact or when the line is flat (horizontal) it means the aspect is stationary. It remains the same over a given time span. If the aspect is more veritical, it is either applying or seperating. The more vertical the line, the more fleeting the aspect.
