Dear list members, Event: First moon landing by a human. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin of the US Apollo 11 mission landed the lunar module Eagle on the surface of the moon at 4:17:42 p.m. EDT on July 20, 1969. In 1963, President Kennedy announced the goal to bring a man to the Moon which captured the public imagination. On this day a cherished and hard earned goal had been achieved, based on courage, technological breakthroughs and sheer determination. Astrological analysis: Sa/Ra/Ma period was operating. Transit L8 Saturn was conjunct natal Rahu in H10, highlighting the risks associated with the project. L6 Jupiter in H3 of initiative aspected natal L1 Moon highighting the determination. Transit L1 Moon was also in H3 of initiative. L10 Mars was conjunct its own placement in H5 and aspecting L1 Moon in H11, highlighting the courage and brining fame to the country. It also resonated with the wish

fulfillment nature of the country associated with L1 Moon being placed in H11 of hopes. Transit L4 Venus was exactly conjunct H11 MEP showing the deep happiness the realisation of this goal brought to the country. Transit L2 Sun was conjunct transit L3 in H1, highlighting the technological initiative. The combination was also under aspect of natal L6 Jupiter in H5, highlighting the difficulty and perhaps also the huge financial cost of the space program. Best wishes, Thor

Let's be reasonable here. I would expect you to realize that what I meant by 'everyone', was 'a significant amount of people' it's called a hyperbolic device in English language. Get over your intellect.Secondly, you can read in the Srimad Bhagvat Mahapurana (written by Vyasa father of Parashara author of the great 'Hora' sastra) 5th Skandha on the section where it describes the cosmology of the Universe. Where it quite obviously doesn't explicitly state that 'the Americans never went to he moon in the year...' BUT does give enough qualifications regarding the position of the moon to make it nearly impossible to attain given present technological capabilities. Also, did you know that OVER 50% of Americans question that we even went to the moon. Needless to say, that doesn't disqualify it from being a significant event in History worthy of study by SA.Didn't intend on starting a war here, just sharin' a thought.Acyutananda
