Guest guest
Dear list members, Another check of the SAMVA USA chart is to study how different dasa periods match with the historical thematic events. I attach a short slide with some information that I was able to find. However, it is not complete and I share it in case someone else finds something of interest. Clearly, some economic setbacks and wars were seen to occur in most periods. These were tied to malefic transits that are able to produce setbacks even if occuring in a favourable period. The push to conquer the territories in the West occurred all throughout the 19th century. Some preliminary findings of interest: In the first Rahu period there was a period of "good feeling" and then two minor depressions. Also the "second" war of indepdence was waged in this period. In the second Rahu period in there was a boom in the "Roaring twenties" and then in the 1930s the mother of all depressions broke out. In the Jupiter major period of the 19th century, the Monroe Doctrine was issued, where the USA announced it would police the American continent to fend off encroachment by the European powers. In the second Jupiter period in the 1940s, the US fought to liberate Europe from the clutches of Nazism and later Communism in the cold war. The California gold rush occurred in a Saturn period, which has to do with mining. It was also a rush for quick gains and speculation, consistent with Saturn being L8 and placed in H8. In the second Saturn period, big business was powerful, there were also wars and civil unrest. A US space program took humans to the Moon. Best wishes, Thor Don't pick lemons.
