Guest guest
Dear List, The outlook for today played well for reasons given. The DJIA opened at 12214, dipped to 12186 low and was then up to 12352 high (high-low = 166 points, corresponding to a ~23.6% pullback from the drop of the all-time high to yesterday's low - a key level in trading circles). The close was 12262. Let's see how tomorrow works out. Best regards, Vyas Munidas - " Vyas Munidas " <muni> <SAMVA > Tuesday, February 27, 2007 4:28 PM Re: Re: The prediction about the US stock market. Dear List, (SAMVA USA chart) As this plays out this week, we can expect the transit of the Moon in Cancer for the next couple days to ease the fall in the markets somewhat. The Moon is the dispositor of Me, Su, and Ra. Tomorrow, the Moon is aspected by strong FB Mars at the open bell. Tr Mars will be closely conj natal Me as well, and the trading day ends with Mo-na Me exact. Thursday finds close Mo-MEP H1 and by the end of the day it's under the exact influence of FM Jupiter. So tomorrow should see a pullback and Thursday should end negatively. The Ra-Su contact next week can be problematic for all the significations of 2H and the Sun esp as the na Ke- tr Su aspect will also be close (currently exact). Best regards, Vyas Munidas - " cosmologer " <cosmologer <SAMVA > Tuesday, February 27, 2007 3:19 PM Re: The prediction about the US stock market. Dear list members, The market just dropped over 500 points, thereby breaching the 1 support level at 12300 and going to around 12100. Howver, before it reached the 2 level of support at 11900 it began to recover. The DJIA is currently down around 400 points. As this decline is the largest one day drop for many years, it is bound to affect market participants expectations going forward, after an eight month rally of almost unprecedented optimism. The events of today are PERFECTLY explained by the SAMVA USA chart based on the serious transit afflictions at the present time. More importantly, these events involving both the US Presidency and the stock market were PREDICTED based on the chart. That is the real proof of the merit of this chart. Guest guest
Dear Vyas, Your day-by-day prediction for the US stock market, based on the SAMVA USA chart, is still on track. That is impressive as many analysts were thinking yesterday it was just a one day blip. The finanicial media even began to congratulate new Fed Chairman for successfully assuaging the market concerns! It will be interesting to see how the day ends. Guest guest
Dear Thor, Yes it will be. As the Moon separates from the MEP onwards, and ends the day exactly under Jupiter's gaze and closer to Saturn, we can expect fluctuations erring on the side of losses. These analysts and reporters are a funny bunch, literally. Guest guest
Dear Vyas, Your prediction for the day was spot on. The DJIA, which moved slightly into positive territory in the final hour of trade was down 0.3% at the close. Congratulations. Due to how the markets have acted this week, including - a whallop on the downside on Tuesday - a modest recovery on Wedenesday and - a sharp drop at the open but a near recovery by the close on Thursday, there is now concern that the correction hasn't lasted long enough or " corrected " enough for a base to form from which the market can move higher. Hence, the market is by some considered vulnerable for a further downside correction going forward. Tomorrow: 1. The L2 Sun in H8 of obstacles becomes doubly afflicted in transit by the nodes. Transit L2 Sun at 17° 44' Aquarius in H8 will be - exactly aspected by natal Ketu at 17° 47' Libra in H4 - within the conjunction of transit stationary Rahu at 22° 10 Aquarius in H8. Next week, as the conjunction becomes closer things would also become worse, especially as the nodes are stationary afflicting H2 and H8 MEPs. 2. Transit L6 Jupiter is getting ever closer to its difficult combination with L8 Saturn. By tomorrow, transit L6 Jupiter at 24° 02' Scorpio in H5 will be - conjunct natal L8 Saturn at 26° 46' Scorpio in H5 - aspecting transit L8 Saturn at 26° 07' Cancer in H1 - transit L1 Cancer, dispositor of Saturn, will be weak in infancy in H2. Please note that these aspects have yet to become closer and hence we are only feeling the beginning of these difficult aspects. 3. The nodes are now hammering away at H8, H2, H4, H6 and the other even numbered houses. This situation adds a significant level of difficulty for the lords of these houses, including L2 Sun, L6 Jupiter and L8 Saturn as well as all the planets in theses houses or contacted by L6 or L8 in transit. 4. In relation to point 3, the aspect of L8 Saturn at 26° 07' Cancer in H1 to natal L2 Sun at 23° 45' Capricorn in H7 is getting closer. While the strain from this aspect is by itself is only middling at the present time, the affliction of transit L2 Sun and of H2 by the nodes in transit could be making the natal placement of the Sun more sensitive to the transit affliction by Saturn. In any event, the strain from this transit should really become palpable by the time Saturn has come within 1° of the aspect with the Sun and even more so when Saturn becomes stationary at 24° 11' in the second half of April 2007, by which time Saturn will have become closely doubly afflicted by Jupiter (as noted in point 2). In short and regretfully, according to the SAMVA USA chart, the correction in the US stock market is not over and will get more pronounced in coming weeks. Guest guest
Dear Thor, No congratulations required - this is simply the application of SA to study the chart in closer detail. Thank you though. Regarding the 21 degree MEP, events as I have been monitoring suggest that this could be spot on. Illustraged today, DJIA rose as the Moon approached the MEP after the open drop. From ~11:30am (Mo 21:09) the market went into fluctuation mode by 6L's closer and closer effect into the end of day. Important as well is the general signification of Jupiter for fortune, as it can be helpful in this situation when not exactly afflicting. At 2 pm when the Moon was still outside the 1 degree orb, the 11:30 am high was exceeded. After this, the exact affliction (Mo 23:58, Ju 23:57 at 3pm) inspired a further push down to end the day negatively. Saturn's closer aspect to the Moon througout the day was also considered in granting the loss dimension. To your points, I fully agree. Also consider that at the open bell tomorrow, Mo-Me are exact with both in moderate infancy, and the Moon moves into a better degree during the course of the day; so this could be helpful somewhat. A buoyant day wouldn't surprise. WRT the aspect of natal Ke to the tr Sun, it begins to separate after a couple hours from open (~same time as the Mo-Me separates). The affliction still remains heavy into the end of day. Anyways, enough of my hour-by-hour nit picking! It's better to call it when it is clearest - the marcro view is best in this regard. Guest guest
Dear Thor and Vyas, Congrats for the recent prediction on stock markets. Will we see the same result if we take Dow's HQ chart? If I remember correctly Thor you helped me in analysing Best Buy's HQ chart years ago? I appreciate your input. Many Thanks Bala
Guest guest
Dear Vyas, Thanks for the analysis concerning the 21° Cancer rising degree of the SAMVA USA chart. Due to the SA emphasis on MT rulers, L6 Jupiter and L8 Saturn have made this degree stand out in recent years. It is therefore no surprise you find it to work with the fast moving L1 Moon in the chart. We will follow the developments in the markets today as per your emphasis on the impact of the Moon for the market, and my observation about the affliction of transit L2 Sun in H8 by natal Ketu in H4. Finally, with regard to the US monetary policy, financial market stress and the role of the US Federal Reserve I share with you some analytical commentary a friend of mine in the US sent to me: " With ninety central banks tightening over recent months, the effects of that tightening are beginning to show. And they are showing most dramatically in the ranks of the sub-prime mortgage crowd. Evidently, these dummies never though it could happen. I'm talking about thousands of home-owners unable to handle the boost in mortgage payments. Now it's happening, and for that reason you can be certain that Dr. Bernanke would cut off his right arm before he'd raise rates another notch. " Yesterday, the good Dr. Bernanke sought to calm the markets but saying in effect that the Fed sees what's happening, and don't worry - - the Fed had everything under control. My suggestion to Dr. Bernanke is to refrain from that kind of talk. Because if the market continues to head down, he's going to look both silly and wrong. Guest guest
Dear Thor, DJIA, so far today, seen through the SAMVA USA chart: - opened at 12233 and dipped to 12180 (-55 points) within the first 10 mins (9:30-940) - rose to a high of 12247 (+67 points) at 10:45 [Mo-Me were exactly opposite bringing the buoyancy as expected] - stayed buoyant until 11:15 and has continued to move down since (12115 seen a half hour ago) [ Me-Me were perfectly exact at 10:53 and separated after] This has played perfectly inline with the chart. Regarding your friend's comments, he's correct on all counts. With Ra-Su, LO2 next week and weak Me LO3 in H8, the possibility of manipulative comments that hurt the status and finances of the USA are very likely. There is a good possibility that these comments originate from within the nation as Ra's natal position is H10, but not limited to there. The Moon's transit through H2 and 3 could trigger the financially focused comments. This last point I am not certain about. Any guidance would be appreciated. Guest guest
Dear Vyas, Thanks for sharing your view on the market. I still think that the exact affliction of transit L2 Sun in H8 by Ketu in H4 while the H2 and H8 MEPs are severly afflicted by the stationary nodes is the key to the activity seen in the market today. The DJIA went down convincingly, around 105 points right before the close, to around 12130, which is a decline of around 0.85%. This brings the decline from the 12786 peak reached on 20 February to 5.1%, which is substantial. The prediction for a significant stock market correction on the basis of the SAMVA USA chart is therefore on track. Moreover, we could expect a further setback next week when the L2 Sun crosses the stationary Rahu in H8 on 6 November, when L4 Venus will also have moved into the exact aspect of transit L6 Jupiter. As natal Venus is now transit afflicted by Ketu in H2, the setback could be related to the housing sector. Guest guest
Dear Thor, We agree on all counts. Perhaps I should have stated my thoughts clearer - I expected the market to stay buoyant with the Mo-Me aspect in the early part of the day; obviously when they separate the buoyancy wanes. This manifested. Moon in a better degree helps somehwat, but the dispositor weakness counts more. - I expeced the Sun's weakness to keep things heavy and end the day negatively; the Mo-Me aspect was helpful to not see an even greater, sustained fall from much earlier in the day. Additionally, when markets open, we get a 'jolt,' if you will of the pent up energy that has been brewing in the investor mind before. The increased weakness of the Sun from yesterday's close and a somewhat stronger Moon and Mercury saw this mixed behaviour on the open bell today with a push down and then back up; buoyant and then down. Thanks for your thoughts on the housing sector. The bad news on this area has bee pouring in for the last few weeks; a few extra nails next week would be right in line. Best regards, Vyas Munidas - " cosmologer " <cosmologer <SAMVA > Friday, March 02, 2007 4:23 PM Fw: Re: DJIA Today Dear Vyas, Thanks for sharing your view on the market.
