Hi Brian Thanks for your reply. Your refer to the chart you previously posted. I don't appear to have retained it, or maybe I missed it all together. Would you forward it to me? Please. Cheers, JohnBrian Conrad <jjyotish wrote: The San Francisco Bay Area experienced a 4.2 magnitude earthquakeThursday evening at 8:40 PM PST. Normally a 4.2 quake

would not garnermuch attention but many in the area said it was the strongest quake theyhad felt since the Loma Prieta quake of 1989. I certainly felt it as Ilive about 10 miles from the epicenter. It started as any other quakesaround here with some rolling but instead of going away got strongerwith a roaring sound and a huge bang. I dropped to floor for safety.Note that this precedes the eclipse this weekend so there might be aneven stronger quake in the area unless that one relieved the stresscaused by the extreme pull on the crust. There are almost always majorearthquakes around eclipses. News story here:http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/03/02/BAGMIOE5QH1.DTL- Brian(just felt a light aftershock)

Don't get soaked. Take a quick peak at the forecast with the Search weather shortcut.
