Guest guest
Dear Sankara, I am happy to note that you find the information useful. In order to make the information hopefully more useful to you and other list members, I have added the share prices to the graphs. The file has been uploaded to the SAMVA Files section under the SAMVA USA chart folder under the title " Turmoil on US financial markets " . The graphs now allow you to see the intra-day volatility against the share price development. Please note that the share price shown is the one at the close of the market on each day. As such the daily values reveal the changes taking place from one day to the next, while the intra-day volatility shows the proportionate price change within a given day. The two measures are linked but slightly different. Guest guest
Dear Thor, Thanks for the clarificaions."Destiny of the the Nations of the planet" is so fascinating and exalted a theme, that it merits being discussed 'by the gods' in the higher planes-in a certain manner of speaking! I shall find time to read the history of the market swings and then I'll get back with my Qs, which in the beginning may be quite naive. I hope you and the other active SAMVA astrologers wont find this too elementary or ridiculous! Guest guest
Dear Sankara, Glad you find this field of study of interest. I am sure we will try our best to answer your questions. I agree, the study of mundane astrology is a privileged field of study. One day, when astrology gains its rightful place in the pantheon of higher learning, mundane astrology will be taught alongside other social sciences. The focus of my study of the share prices and their intra-day volatility was to identify days when the market turmoil was the most evident. Setbacks can develop in financial markets over some weeks or months. These involve the analysis of slow moving transit afflictions and periods in the natal chart under study. However, it is the days when outright panic engulfs the market that warrant a special examination. Based on such research it is possible to make the predictions, which are the real test of such charts.
