Iceland - recent developments in terms of the mundane chart

Dear friends,Developments in Iceland are currently well reflected in the 9° 30' Virgo rising mundane chart (attached as gif file).L2 Venus, the indicator of weather, has recently moved into H8, where it is unafflicted. Its dispositor, natal L8 Mars in H11 is currently transit afflicted by L6 Saturn. There is again snow on the ground and the weather has turned quite a bit colder, reducing the comfort of the people.There are numerous other afflictions in the chart which show a difficult situation with regard to financial stability, which is also highlighted by Sa/Sa period operating for the remainder of this year. Saturn also aspects L11 Moon in H8, suggesting conflict or opposition involving income or plans. Transit L8 Mars is afflicted by natal L8 Mars and soon will be aspected by transit stationary L6 Saturn, compounding the same transit-to-natal affliction. A stationary transit Rahu in H6 is now exactly afflicted by natal L8 Mars.

Meanwhile, L1 Mercury has for some time been badly placed in H6. As mentioned above, the weather turned colder in recent days. Moreover, as predicted, there has been a surge in flu cases in Iceland since February. As regards financial stability, yesterday, a ratings firms downgraded the rating for the Icelandic government due to the development of significant imbalances in the economy. Notably, while things are generally going well in the country, the situation has become quite imbalanced due to very fast growth of the economy and debt build up. The ratings firms is thus creating opposition to further development, as noted by the aspect also of transit stationary L6 Saturn in H11 to L8 Moon in H8 of obstacles. It is therefore quite clear that the interplay of afflictions involving L6 Saturn, L8 Mars and FM Rahu in H6 explain the precarious financial situation.Best wishes,Thor

The weather in Iceland in recent days has been stormy and erratic.

First, it became cold and snowy. Then the weather warmed quickly and

all the snow melted. This was followed by sudden flooding. The weather

then turned cold again with snow reemerging with lots of wind.

Finally, the high wind has come with frozen sleet or rain.

 

Such turbulent weather is explained by the close opposition aspect of

L8 Mars in H5 and L6 Saturn in H11, conjunct natal Mars. Natal Mars

has also been closely aspecting transit stationary Rahu in H6, while

transit Ketu has aspected L11 Moon in H8. The weather turned

noticeably worse with L2 Venus, the indicator of weather, transiting

the 8th house, given the transit contacts involving L8. The Sa/Sa

period is running and the 8th house influence has been the dominant

element, with Saturn and Venus manifesting the impact of the 8th house

energy.
