Guest guest
Dear Thor (and List), From the 20th April, Saturn is no longer retrograde and the affliction to natal Sun in the SAMVA USA chart will begin to separate. In early May, the axis starts to move faster and the affliction to the MEP lessens. By mid-May, the Ju-Sa affliction is past 1 degree and gradually moves out of contact for the remainder of this year. (On Jan 2, 2008 they again come into close contact). It's good that the MEP affliction by the axis isn't as heavy when the Ju-Sa affliction in heaviest. In the midst of the other events covered, USD has taken a pounding against the major currencies over several weeks. Today it has fallen to multi-year lows against the British Pound - these prices haven't been seen since 1992, and technically there is still scope for more weakness. Low USD prices against EUR hasn't been seen since late 2004, albeit briefly. We should note that at these elevated prices, there is usually a big drive to buy USD. Fundamentals considered, the greenback is undervalued at the moment. The debilitation of Mercury usually brings this 'unruly' behaviour in the markets unless other planets bring balance. The SP has hit highs not seen since 2000 and the DJIA has moved to levels just shy of the Feb fall. Help here is given by the Ma-Ve aspect in the USA chart. The close approach to the MEPs by Ve, Ma and Me can also be helpful in the coming days. Best regards, Vyas Munidas
