Thanks M. Imran,

The L9 Sun is strong and well placed in H7 in her chart along with L5

Mars. The strong is what has given her the political authority in the

first place, as well as having had a father that was Prime Minister.

Having L11 Venus on H5 MEP is also helpful to realise her ambitions.

That said, with her present sub-period lord, L1 Jupiter, badly placed

in H6, the period would be marked by opposition. This placement would

also give her an adamant nature. Het next major period begins in 2009

and it is that of L10 Mercury. Mercury is also badly placed in H8,

and this placement explains the obstacles faced by her in her career.

A cursory look at the chart does not give an indication that the

future is promising for her in terms of her main political goal to

become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. That said, after transit

Jupiter has entered H1 only a few weeks from now. Other transits will

be helpful in coming weeks and months. Transit L5 Mars is going to

remain well placed in H7 for some more months. L9 Sun also enters

Sagittarius in December. Add to that the fact that transit L3 Saturn

will be transit stationary in H9 aspecting L1 Jupiter in H6.

According to the transits, the situation is likely to become much

more favourable for her in only some weeks from now.

Musharraf Will Try to Hold Ballot on Schedule, Government Says

to hold national elections on schedule, the government said, as

opposition leader Benazir Bhutto called for mass protests to demand

an end to emergency rule.

``The president is trying his best to stick to the original schedule

that was there before the emergency was imposed,'' Musharraf's

spokesman Rashid Qureshi said by telephone from the capital,

Islamabad, today. ``There are legal and judicial issues on which he

cannot give a time limit.''

Bhutto appealed to political parties yesterday to join her in a

protest march from the eastern city of Lahore to Islamabad next week.

She is demanding Musharraf step down as army chief by Nov. 15 and

hold the parliamentary ballot as scheduled before Jan. 15.

Musharraf, facing the stiffest opposition to his rule since he took

power in a 1999 military coup, suspended Pakistan's constitution Nov.

3 as the Supreme Court was nearing a decision on the legality of his

re-election to a second five-year term as president. He imposed

emergency rule saying judicial interference in government affairs was

hampering the fight against terrorism.

The Pakistan Bar Council said lawyers will continue to boycott court

proceedings until the constitution is restored and asked members to

continue their nationwide protests.

As many as 1,000 lawyers, opposition party leaders and their

supporters have been arrested since Musharraf's emergency decree.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, who was fired Nov. 3, has

called on government officers to reject the order.

Election Date

No date has been set for the elections or the end to emergency rule,

Information Secretary Anwar Mahmood said by telephone from Islamabad

today.

The National Assembly endorsed the decree yesterday, the official

Associated Press of Pakistan reported. Bhutto's Pakistan Peoples

Party and other opposition lawmakers boycotted the session. Police

fired tear gas to disperse legislators protesting yesterday outside

Parliament in Islamabad.

President George W. Bush said yesterday he telephoned Musharraf and

told him he should hold elections soon and step down as head of the

armed forces.

Bush told reporters he had a ``very frank discussion'' with the

president. He declined to criticize Musharraf and said Pakistan has

been ``on the path to democracy.''

U.S. Ally

Nuclear-armed Pakistan is a U.S. ally in the fight against al-Qaeda

and other terrorist groups operating along the mountainous border

with Afghanistan. Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte told

Congress yesterday the country is ``too vital to our interests'' to

break off or downgrade relations.

Bhutto, a former prime minister, returned to Pakistan last month

after eight years in self-imposed exile.

She had been involved in power-sharing negotiations with Musharraf,

64, who gave her amnesty on corruption charges she faced and agreed

to give up control of the military by Nov. 15. In return, Bhutto

didn't object to him being re-elected president by the current

Parliament.

Bhutto, 54, said her talks with Musharraf reached a ``deadlock'' when

the general imposed emergency rule and she has no meetings scheduled

with him.

``We were engaged in a political dialogue for peaceful transition to

democracy,'' Bhutto said yesterday. ``Now we find ourselves back in a

dictatorship.''

Bhutto, who was prime minister twice between 1988 and 1996, demanded

the government lift a ban on people holding the office three times.

She is scheduled to address a rally in Rawalpindi near Islamabad

tomorrow, ignoring a ban on public gatherings issued by Musharraf.

It turns out that Benazir Bhutto's chart we were discussing here on

SAMVA was all wrong. She was born at 17:32 and had 12° 40' Scorpio

rising - and was not born at 19:43 with 19° 15' Sagittarius rising as

earlier suggested. In view of that, please disregard the recent

discussion about her chart on the list.
