SAMVA USA chart and the Shodashamsa D16

It is interesting to note that in the SAMVA USA chart there are 3

exalted planets in the D16 chart representing conveyances.

 

In the Sun period –(exalted in D16) cars were first mass produced in the

USA. Also the Wright brothers were making progress with aircraft technology.

 

In the Mars period (exalted in D16) aircraft technology rapidly

progressed during the war years 1914 to 1918. Aircraft were initially

used for military purposes.

 

In Saturn period (exalted in D16) Space and rocket technology made rapid

advances.

Dear Ron,

 

Thank you for the insights, to which I offer some additional

thoughts. In the natal chart (D-1), the strong position of Mars, the

general indicator of industrial technology, is also of note,

including its favourable aspect from L1 Moon, which imbues Americans

with a sense of identity associated with their technological prowess,

as " Yankee know-how " . The aspect of L6 Jupiter to Mars and placement

of L4 Venus in Sagittarius H6 are also of note. Together they would

give a tendency for big cars (Jupiter) that would also be inefficient

((weak and badly placed Venus). The term " gas guzzler " applies

especially to American cars. Moreover, the repair record of American

cars has historically been worse that that of e.g. Japanese cars. The

strong position of Mercury, the general indicator of analysis and

transportation and functional indicator of enterprise, invention, IT

and transportation, is strong in Capricorn H7, supporting the use of

state of the art technology in the American automotive industry,

which have been leaders in GPS systems and car computers. The

placement of Mercury in H7, with Sun also on H7 MEP, along with the

fact that Mars is L10, supports the export of American industrial

products to countries in other parts of the world.
