Planetary Transits

for January 3 – January 9

 

Note: 

Last week’s prediction:

Sun transits Sagittarius, from 18:15 to 25:23°, outside the orb of

influence of other planets. 

 

Moon transits Libra, Scorpio,

Sagittarius, and into Capricorn.  Moon,

in Scorpio, is debilitated Jan. 3 – 5. 

The new Moon is in Sagittarius, Jan 8.

 

Mars transits Gemini, from 05:06 to 02:56°. 

Mars is retrograde until Jan. 30, weak until Feb. 29, and under the

influence of Rahu until March 11.  (There

can be problems relative to fire, police, military, property, explosions, etc.)  Mars remains in Gemini until April 28. 

 

Mercury transits out of Sagittarius and

into Capricorn on Jan. 4 at 5:55 a.m., CT.   Mercury is weak until Jan. 7.  Be careful with your stocks, business, and

communications. 

 

Jupiter transits its mooltrikona sign,

Sagittarius, from 09:33 to 11:09°, and moves away from the

influence of Mars and Ketu.  Expect

improvement in many areas after Jan. 5.

 

Venus transits Scorpio, from 10:16 to 18:47°. 

Expect an end to the strike by the Writers Guild of America around Jan.

23.

 

Saturn transits Leo, from 14:23 to 14:10°, outside the orb of influence of

other planets.  Saturn is retrograde

until May 2.

 

Rahu and Ketu transit Aquarius and Leo,

respectively, from 04:58 to 04:09°.  Persons with rising signs in the 4-degree

range, or with planets in odd signs in the 4-degree range, should be careful

and patient.

 

Transits for each

“Rising sign” (Not “Sun sign”):

 

Aries:  Be careful with your health, reputation,

ambition, restlessness, communications and entrepreneurial activities through

March 11. Marriage and partners are also vulnerable.  Tell your partner to be careful to avoid

accidents and to be patient with setbacks.

 

Taurus: 

Focus on family life and working out of your home.  Focus on your children, education and

investments, and take care of your family and property.  Partners need to take care of their health

and to avoid conflicts.  Be patient with

unexpected losses, expenses, or separations. 

 

 

Gemini: 

Focus on marriage and partnerships. 

Take care of your children, education, investments, parents and home

life.  Be patient with fluctuations with

your income, friendships, and older siblings through March 11.  There can be good fortune through your own

efforts.

 

Cancer: 

Expect the unexpected with your career through March 11.  You may be restless or ambitious.  There can be accidents, setbacks or

separations in the workplace.  Focus on

your children, education and investments. 

Be especially careful before you speak. 

 

 

Leo: 

 Focus on your children, education

and investments.  Be careful before you

speak to avoid conflict.  Beautify your

home.  Partnerships are favorable over

the next two years.  Take care of your

father and guru.  Expect fluctuations

with income and friendships through Mar. 11.

 

Virgo:  Focus on parents, property, and home life, along

with entrepreneurial activities.  Do

something creative.  Consider art, music,

theater, etc.  Be careful to avoid

accidents and manage your ambition and restlessness through Mar. 11.  Enjoy happiness and home life during 2008.

 

Libra:   Focus

on your wealth, status, speech and family life. Expect gains through your own

efforts, authority figures, children, education and investments.  Your partner is vulnerable and may be feeling

overly ambitious or restless.  Be patient

with short-term losses or expenses.

 

Scorpio: 

Expect status and some improvement with your career, but income and

friendships are weak until Jan. 7.  Be

patient with expenses and long distant ventures.  Protect your health and finances and avoid

conflict through Mar. 11.  Focus on fixed

assets and your career.

 

Sagittarius:  This is a good time to rise high.  Teach, publish, consult and advise.  Be patient with short-time losses and

expenses.  Consider long-distant

ventures.  Expect the unexpected with

your children, education and investments. 

Be patient.  Invest in

entrepreneurial activities.

 

Capricorn:  Expect gains, income and friendships with

your career.  Exercise patience all

around.  There may be fluctuations with

property and home life through Mar. 

11.  Consider relocation, long

distant ventures, or spiritual retreats during 2008.  Focus on research and mysticism.

 

Aquarius:  Be creative and expect good fortune with your

career.  Focus on the fine, performing

and healing arts.  Be careful with too

much ambition and restlessness through Mar. 11. 

Expect gains, income and friendships during 2008, and marriage and

partnerships over the next two years. 

 

Pisces: Relationships are weak until

Jan. 7.  There may be some disturbance,

separation, or expenses with your status and family life through Mar. 11.  Avoid debts, enemies, fire and theft in the

workplace, but focus on your career. 

Manage your health and finances for the next two years.
