Re yr mail we understand that inactive mails will have their subs cancelled

 

Please advise if that will happen when a member is away on vacation

for a relatively long period

 

Will there be a need to notify admin in the particular instance?

Dear list members,As part of list cleanup, there will be a cancellation of membership accounts with bouncing emails. Bouncing emails means that the emails are listed as not being deliverable for any number of reasons, including 'no such account', 'server down', etc. If you find that your membership has been cancelled, that will be the reason. In this case, please re- and use the non-email subscription option if that is more suited to your needs. Best wishes,Thor

Dear Mr. Maraye,

 

Most of the bouncing emails had gathered over a long time and the

system was regularly sending out automatic checks to them, which were

only confirming the bouncing status. In most cases, these were also

inactive or non-contributing members. So, I felt it was right to

lighten the system. Importantly, those needing to can easily re-

- with a working email!
